Aiden's Takeover

THE DREAM

After Aiden and Ethan left the Hotel they entered a taxi heading home Ethan turned to look at Aiden and he noticed that he was lost in thought.

Aiden was thinking about the drunk lady he met at the Hotel. It was the sudden tap on his shoulder that brought him back to his senses. He looked to meet Ethan staring at him with a bit of concern on his face.

What are you thinking about Aiden, Ethan asked.

He signed and responded" See Ethan I don't know why I feel that I know that drunk lady even when she called me Mave".

Ethan was surprised hearing what he just said, I can't let him remember her, he thought to himself "Look man it's normal sometimes we see someone and we feel like we know the person but in reality we don't and I believe that she belongs to one of the councils so how did you know her and we moved here two years ago, Ethan explained".

Aiden sighed " Look man it's not only that I have a feeling that she's the same girl I had one night stand with four years ago" he tried to explain.

Ethan was lost in thought for a moment before responding" I don't think so man she can't be the one. What will a wealthy person like her be doing is a country like Bhutan".

Aiden thought about what Ethan just said. There is no way he could have known her, his just overthinking things so he agreed with what Ethan said" You are right Ethan am just overthinking things.

Ethan released his breath that he didn't realize he was holding, then he smiled and patted his shoulder.

About thirty minutes later the taxi stopped so Aiden and Ethan got out of it and paid the taxi man.

Ethan and Aiden hugged each other displaying their brotherly love for each other and pulled out "I will see you at the restaurant tomorrow , before you head to the Hotel", Ethan said .

Aiden patted his shoulder and responded " alright bro" and with that both of them went to their various houses. Aiden apartment is opposite Ethan's apartment.

Aiden went to his apartment and opened the door. He was very tired because the drunk lady really stressed him today. He went inside and saw Emily sleeping peacefully on the couch.

A smile appeared on his face seeing Emily and seeing her really eased his stress. He walked up to her and bent down to reach her level and kissed her forehead. She must have fallen asleep while waiting for me, he thought.

Emily, I promise to give you a good life. You deserve it, you are my little sister and I love you very much. You are the only family I have here in Guildford. After Dad's death I know you miss him very much but I want you to know I will always be here for you and Mom" Aiden poured out his heart to Emily in her sleep with teary eyes.

Just as he was about to leave he saw Emily shiver a little because of the cold. He quickly ran inside the room to get a Duvet, he returned and covered her before heading to his room. Immediately he entered his room he fell on the bed and slept off.

There was chaos in Guildford and Aiden saw his younger self in a very big room while people were running. It seems like a Mafia war was happening and people were shooting and fighting with their fist and they were dressed in different uniforms defining the side they belong to.

They took us by surprise, " a man said, his face was not very visible. We need to take our son out of here fast this instance am sure they do know that I have an heir so it will be better if we send him away, The man added.

No you can't do that, he is my only child. A lady's voice sounded pleadingly. we don't have another way, my dare if it's his fate to come back we are still going to see him and if not then there is nothing I can do dear, The man told his wife.

Suddenly Aiden was being taken away by some person and one of them was wearing a lab coat. What are you doing! He shouted at them. Mom, Dad, what are they doing?, he called out.

Stop this dear, the lady pleaded to her husband please stop it. Am sorry I can't, that is the only way. Carry on, he commanded.

The man putting on a lab coat suddenly started attempting to touch Aiden's head holding something strange.

Aiden immediately jerked up from sleep. Why am I having the dream again, he thought. This was the second time he was having this dream, and he started having this dream since he moved to Guildford two years ago.

It was just a dream. Sometimes dreams are weird, he tried to calm himself down . Looking at the time he quickly went to take a shower and prepared to go to the restaurant before people start asking for delivery then go to the Hotel in the Afternoon and start working.

The Hotel Aiden works is very standard so they have shifts. Aiden usually doesn't work in the morning so he uses that time to make deliveries to people at a fast food restaurant.

He dressed up in his uniform and left his room. He quickly drank a cup of coffee and when to meet Emily, she was still sleeping on the couch. Aiden could not help but smile seeing his little sister.

I don't think she's going to school today, he thought. He has been the one sponsoring her education since she entered college and she is in her final year.

Emily am leaving for work ok, so take care of yourself Aiden said arranging her hair "Alright Aiden I will come and see you at the Hotel later" she responded while still closing her eyes.

With that Aiden kissed her forehead and left.

Aiden arrived at the restaurant and the first people he saw were Daniel and Frank, his colleagues. Why are they the first people am seeing this morning? He thought.

"Look who is here, it's our part-time delivery boy, " Daniel said in a mockery tone and Frank laughed. He just ignored them and left. Since he started work here, Daniel and Frank has always made fun of him including Chloe.

Hey delivery boy you are already here !, Chloe shouted out referring to Aiden. He just ignored her and continued walking.

After Aiden settled down, a delivery call came and he answered the call and wrote down the foods the person needed then he went to collect them and arrange them in the delivery box.

He was done arranging them and was going to deliver it. He just came out of the restaurant heading to the delivery motorcycle when someone forcefully bumped into him.

The package would have fallen if he didn't hold it well. Aiden was very angry so he grabbed the hand of the person who bumped into him who did not even stop and apologize.

The person turned and faced Aiden with anger.

Who else would it be if not this fool, Aiden thought seeing who the person was. It was Jaden the owner of the restaurant son.

Jaden stared at Aiden hand holding him with anger written on his face."How dare you hold me!"?He asked, becoming more furious.

Aiden removed his hand from Jaden and looked at him angrily. Aiden was so annoyed he was supposed to apologize for what he did instead his asking a stupid question. Aiden gave him a response" Jaden you almost ruined someone's order right now and you did not even say sorry".

Jaden laughed and looked at Aiden then he stopped laughing and mocked Aiden "Really Aiden I should apologize to you, a delivery boy in my Dad's Restaurant or should I apologize to the waiter instead? " he asked and started laughing again and went inside the restaurant.

Just because his rich, he thinks he has the whole world, Aiden said and rode out.

After Aiden was done with his delivery for the day he was preparing to go out when Ethan came.

"Are you ready now let's go?" Ethan asked. Yha come-on let's go it's almost time Aiden responded checking his watch.

They were about to leave when they heard Chloe's voice" Aiden I want you to help me deliver something to my house since you are a delivery boy ! " She shouted .One could tell that she was just making fun of him.

It's a good thing they were still in the workers area and the customer did not hear although she won't be able to do it in front of the customer though.

Ethan looked at Chloe with disgust and anger.

He so much disliked this girl he just shaked his head and continued walking with Aiden and followed the back exit.

They entered a taxi and went straight to the Hotel.

What they did not notice was that immediately they entered into the taxi, a man in his late forties,, looking very elegant and rich in a black SUV.

Winded down his window and stared at the taxi that carried them looking very emotional, he didn't even realize when a tear dropped down his face. After regaining himself he ordered the chauffeur with a voice filled with pain” move”. Yes boss, the Chauffeur responded and zoomed off.

They arrived at the Hotel and they changed their uniforms. Aiden couldn't help but remember the drunk lady from yesterday. He has to find out if she's ok.

He went to search for the Manager and luckily he saw him."Sir please the drunk lady from yesterday is fine? Am I just concerned?" he asked.

the manager looked at Aiden and responded"Yes Aiden she is fine and was taken home this morning. Alright sir thank you ,Aiden said and left".

As he was about to start working, Ethan approached him " Aiden, I want to tell you something". Aiden looked at him with confusion wondering what he wanted to tell him" alright am listening". Ethan sighed and continued" it about the drunk lady from yesterday, stay away from her please, at least for now stay away from her"

He was really surprised to hear what Ethan told him, he couldn't help but ask" why should I stay away from her?". Ethan patted his shoulder and responded " trust me bro, just stay away from her for now" with that he left, leaving Aiden in confusion
