Chapter 3

There was pain in Elvis's eyes as he walked away gradually from the place.

If there was anything that he needed now, it was a quiet time to cool down his head. With his heart racing fast, he is walked into a boot at the far end of the road that was rarely used.

The inside of the boot is dark, lonely and deserted, revealing the state of his shredded heart.

One that made his heart bleed as It felt just like yesterday when he left the home of his father.

His father wanted him to get married to the daughter of a billionaire in the city who was vast in a new sector.

But he never liked the girl named Sophia who was always acting all sassy. Having to go through the torture of his parent's loveless marriage, he had vowed never to make the same mistake that his parents made.

But his father was hell bent on pushing him into this black hole against his own will. And when her mother eventually opposed, she was chased away not only out of his home but out of the city.

His heart was torn into shreds as he vowed never to return to his father as long as his mother was away from her marriage because of him.

And Sonia was a light in his life, meeting when he thought that he was at the Lowest.

His anger soon melted into stalk pain immediately and he felt like letting the pain flood through him but he was able to restrain himself from doing this.

He used to think that life was all about eating and living a happy life just as he had always watched the ordinary people from afar.

"But guess I was wrong." A deep breath that expressed his pains escaped out of his nostrils.

Right there in the booth, Elvis expressed his pains, thinking about memories of the past and after a while, the mechanism of his inner mind led him to a deep breath.

But his rest did not last long.

Soon, he heard the swift sounds of swaying footsteps filtering into his ears from behind.

He parted his eyes open and listened carefully to what it might actually be. At first, he thought that this was directed somewhere else.

From what he knew, that place had been abandoned for quite a while except someone else was in pain to come to such a deserted area.

His heart raced fast as the sound of footsteps drew closer towards his direction.

Elvis sipped in a really deep breath getting off from the beach to find out what was going on.

Walking outside, his blood stream grew as cold as ice at the sight that laid right before him.

A group of masked men, flinging whispers from side to side. The pattern of his racing heart increased even faster with his fright.

"The tracker says that he is somewhere already here. We should find him soon enough." He heard one of the men saying.

"But we have searched the whole vicinity and we still can't find him." Another masked man who seemed to be of a lower rank spewed.

The words seemed to flare up the anger of the first masked men. With a stamp, he forged towards the latter, holding him tightly by his collar.

"You know how important this job is, if we can't fulfill it, we might all consider ourselves as good as dead already." He flared, throwing him towards the ground.

He could hear the gasp of the man who was right on the floor, sending cold chills down his bones making them stiff.

Even though brewing out the words directly, Elvis could already tell that they were searching for him.

His legs shivered and more cold chills went down his spine. And if they were not lenient even with one of their own. That meant.

A large lump went down his spine, as he flung the thoughts away from his heart.

"I never knew that Dustin was this cruel." He muttered swiftly under his breath.

If there was anything that he had to do now, it was a way of escape. "But how was he going to do that?" Was the major thought that cut through his mind.

He racked through his brain for a possible solution. The last time that he remembered, he had seen something like a side door in the crack.

Maybe that was going to be his means of escape.

Drawing a really deep breath and praying under it at the same time, Elvis drew his feet soundlessly off from the floor, gradually making his way towards the shrill right.

And for the first time in a long while, hope seemed to be on his side as it turned out to be a small opening that he could go through.

With his heart right in his hands, he pushed his body through the opening.

But it seemed as though he was wrong about the fate earlier or it was just playing tricks with him.

Right before him were another group of masked men, staring at him right in his face.

Another wave of cold chills went down his spine and this time, he knew for sure that it was certainly over for him.

Soon, he heard footsteps from behind and turning around, he noticed that it was the other group from the other end.

They might have been sent a signal because there was certainly no other explanation for this.

He tried hard to control himself from looking more like a fool before him.

If there was anything that he had to do, he knew for sure that he had to control his fear and act brave even in the face of death.

"What do you want from me?" He spewed out the words from his mouth with an unsteady turn.

But even with his questions, they were not ready to spit out another word from their mouth.

There was a sudden split in their formation as one in a different attire walked Forward toward him.

And even without anyone saying the words to him, he could already tell that was their boss.

"Don't worry, you are going to find out who sent us soon enough." He responded but Elvis frowned almost immediately.

"I already know who did it. Dustin sent you right? I know he hates me so much. But I never knew that he would be cruel to this extent. Even after getting everything that he had ever wanted." His hands were clenched tightly, gluing to his shorts

And the resounding silence seemed to confirm the words that he had just spoken.

"Come with us and all your questions are going to be answered." He responded.

But Elvis could not help it anymore as a slight chuckle escaped swiftly from his mouth, going ahead to say.

"Are you for real right now? You want me to come with you?" He could not control the emotions that were all washed up in his voice.

"What instruction were you given? Harvest my organs or what." He responded firmly.

If there was anything that would happen to him, he would rather die a brave death than be treated more like a fool.

They closer towards Elvis with an apology on their lips as a handkerchief was placed over his nostrils.

Knowing that there was absolutely nothing that he could do this time, he gave up on their hands and eventually passed out.

A few moments later, he opened his eyes slowly and gradually. He could already feel a ringing sensation in his head.

He pulled off from the floor slowly staring at the strange environment that laid before him.

He remembered what happened, cold chills went down his spine. His eyes continued to pair around and finally, his eyes met with someone at the far end of the room.

"Elvis, you are awake already." a familiar voice resounded in his hearings.

The shock that ran through his spine knew absolutely no bounds as random thoughts ran through his mind.

His eyes bulged out from his eyes sockets as memories of the past ran through his mind. Elvis opened his mouth to speak but his words brought into stutters.

"Father.." He was finally able to form the words into one piece.
