Adam relaxed in the backseat, the city lights of Almond faded behind him, reflecting off the windows of the sleek black car. Stacey, sitting in the driver’s seat, glanced at him through the rearview mirror.

“Where to next, boss?” she asked, a sly grin tugging at the corner of her mouth.

Adam leaned back, adjusting his cufflinks with practiced ease. His gaze was calm but sharp, like a predator already plotting his next move. “Storm City,” he said, his voice low and deliberate. “It’s time to pay Viper a visit.”

Stacey arched an eyebrow. “The Dead Skulls base? Wouldn't that be dangerous, we need to call back up.” Stacey suggested. Although she knew Adam was more than capable, she can't underestimate the Dead skull’s potential, they were ruthless warriors.

Adam’s lips curled into a faint smile. “Not until I get what I came for—the amulet. Viper’s held onto it long enough. And no need for backups, we can take them in ourselves.”
