Chapter One Hundred & Twenty-Five

"Damn, this is bad!" Madam Felicia hissed.

Madam Felicia paced back and forth in her small study room, frustration engraved across her face. She had just ended a heated phone call with her accomplice, London, who had refused to help them any further. The plan was unraveling, and their grip on control was slipping away.

"You and your family are on your own now." London's words echoed in Madam Felicia's mind. She had relied on him to keep Natalie in check and also help silence Melanie, but his sudden change of heart had left her seething with anger and uncertainty.

"What do we do now?" Madam Felicia mumbled to herself, her hands trembling as she turned to leave her room but almost bumped into James.

"What the fuck are you doing here? Didn't I tell you to stay in your room?" Madam Felicia yelled at him almost immediately.

"I- I- I- I w- wanted t- to- re-- report- -" James didn't finish his statement when she sighed and pushed him away.
