Chapter Thirty-One

He shook hands with a businessman who had called him earlier as he sat across from him.

"I'm honored that you acknowledged my request." The man said and he smirked, shaking his head.

"No. I'm glad that you are interested in me and want to work with me." He said.

"I have never seen someone so humble as you are." The man commented.

"Do I have anything to be proud of?" He said with sarcasm lingering in his voice.

"Of course, you do. Your talent alone is worth billions of dollars." The man exclaimed.

"I'm flattered." He said, resting his elbow on the desk.

"How about we order something before we proceed?" The man suggested and he agreed, after all, he had been hungry since morning but hadn't gotten the chance to eat since every meeting he attended was strictly confidential and needed a lot of attention.
