Chapter Two Hundred & Seventeen

Melanie took a walk outside to cool her head. Jamal asked Dennis to make sure that she was not alone.

She saw that she was being followed but she ignored them. She sat at a place and began to think of the possible things that could be wrong with Jamal. She could not come up with anything reasonable.

She went back home. When she got home, She turned on the television to watch it but could not concentrate on it. She turned it off.

She headed out again and this time, she went to her parents' house. She got there and fell into Mrs. Alcantara's arms.

Mrs. Alcantara took her in. She could not tell what was wrong with Melanie but she knew that Melanie was not okay.

"What is wrong?" Mrs. Alcantara asked her, sitting her down on a chair.

" It is Jamal, he has been acting strange and I can not tell what is going on with him nor will he say anything," she said in a rush.
