Chapter 3: The shocking Discovery

Andrew froze, Lily's words sinking into his head.

“ You were in possession of that bracelet”

“How come you were not the girl who saved me!?

“Answer me this minute !” Andrew yelled, his eyes flashing with rage, his deathly glare pinned on Lily.

“Bracelet? Oh that?” Lily snorted disdainfully.

She got up from the bed, and stood in front of the white vanity, tying her hair into a bun, she turned to face Andrew.

"You know, when I first saw the mark on that bracelet, I thought it was a sign. A sign that you were special, that you were worth something. But I was wrong. So very wrong.”

“ You are utter trash!” she yelled, glaring down at Andrew in disgust.

Andrew clenched his jaw, his eyes filled with fury

“I won't ask again, how did you get that bracelet! ” he asked, his tone cold and deadly.

Lily let out a chuckle “Why don't you go ask that naive broke ass friend of mine, she will explain better to you”

“ Friend?” Andrew thought, his mind swirling with confusion

“ Oh,but I'm sorry,you can't ask her because you don't know where she is,” Lily smirked , enjoying the confusion and anger laced in Andrew's face.

Lily stood up from the chair, and walked over to where Mike sat on the bed and bent to sit on his laps.

“You know, I find it traumatizing that I had to go through the stress of pretending to be the one who saved a disowned and abandoned trash like you”

“You couldn't even help my family get a single contract ! You are so useless! ”

“Really babe, not even one?” Mike asked mockingly

“Yes babe,not even one because he's an expelled bastard who can never amount to anything” She spat, glaring at Andrew.

Andrew waved off her balbing, because he knew it wasn't true , his mind focused on one question.

If it wasn't Lily who saved him on that day.

Then, who was the woman that saved him 7 years ago?

His eyes flashed with intensity as he pinned his cold gaze to Lily.

“I need an explanation now!”

“ I am Lily Harlow, anything I want, I get!” Lily snapped her disdainful gaze to Andrew and boasted, a smug smile crossing her face.

“Hey you idiot , get out of my fiance's house right now ” Mike warned, glaring at Denzel in contempt.

“One more word from you! and I will make sure you regret your existence”

“Shut…

Bang!

In a swift speed, Mike was hanging in air with one of Andrew's neck tightly wrapped around his neck.

“I warned you” Andrew said coldly, tightening his grip around Mike's neck

Mike's face flushed red as he kicked his legs, his eyes dilating with fear.

“Let him down you bastard!” Lily yelled, her face red with fury.

Andrew ignored her, still holding Mike up with one hand.

Mike's face turned a deep shade of purple, the veins on his forehead protruding, it felt as if he was sitting face to face with death.

“Pl.. pl…ple.. please”he choked out, his eyes bulging with dread.

“Let him down you fool, how dare an incompetent thing like you, lay your gutter hands on my fiance, the heir to the woods family business?”

“A man that can change your miserable life?! ”

Andrew scoffed, but still held Mike in his grasp,when he was satisfied enough, he flung him to the corner, the latter yelped out in pain.

“I regret listening to my mum, because why would I have gotten entangled with a trash like you in the first place?”

“I give you two days! Two days to sign those papers, now get lost! ” Lily snapped , rolling her eyes in disgust.

Andrew shook his head.

That moment he decided it was time to end the nonsense that had been going on.

When Lily saw Andrew still standing at the same position, she thought he wanted to start pleading for a second chance.

“Even if you beg me I won't accept, I'm done acting as Benita”

The name rang in Andrew's ear “Benita”

Was that the name of the girl who saved me? Andrew thought, making up his mind.

“ I will sign the divorce papers now! ”
