Chapter 139 - The Captain’s Shock

Robert had woken up since midnight that day due to urgent business matters arising which he had to attend, even almost offending his grandmaster, Ares in the process of completing the issues.

After dealing with all the issues and ensuring that Dave, Michael’s father, received his deserved punishment, an arduous process he went through all through alone. It felt like an eternity before he finally had the opportunity to return home, where he planned to catch up on his lost sleep.

Unfortunately, however, he had even barely managed to lay his exhausted body on the bed when a loud sound echoed beside him, startling him badly to sit up and instantly causing his head to throb hysterically.

Robert's eyes snapped open and darted toward the ringing cell phone, turning crimson red in an instant and transforming into a glare.

“Which bastard was that?!” He roared with rage, frustration, and helplessness.

"I thought I had already turned off this damn cell phone. How did I miss that?" he
