Eventually with Moremi at the helm of victory, she returned back home to her people.
There is indeed the saying that the wanderer would one day find his or her way back home and in her case, this was utmostly true.
After all, she had but nothing left in the land of.the Eastern Invaders. Her mission had been concluded and it was then up to her to return back home. To learn of the secrets of the foreign King was no light feat for her. However it posed a risk to her.
A grave risk.
She had to find her way out. It is rumored that she had charmed her way out of the hands of the Queen. And likewise in the same manner, she charmed herself out of the kingdom.
How she had been able to escape without being brought back
...Some new comer in the mix. This should be very interesting now. But you ahve an idea who that is, right?
You would think it was a happy ending sort of situation? Of course, that is what it does look like and besides who would not want a happy ending for the brave queen> She had done the unthinkable and had bested the odds in the favor of her own nationality. She had gone into enemy land and had befeiednt ehKing there such that he was able to divulge their war secrets to her and then it was all fine. It would be the perfect ending. That she would be welcomed to her own town. That she would be paraded a hero. And of course, this is where it is heading towards. Except in the actual sense of it, reality is often discomforting to say the least. When Moremi had returned and when the battle was won. Naturally, there was a noise of c
People think that when they do things, that nobody notices them. They think that they are well hidden and as such there is no one to call them out or to praise them. However this is only but fals mentality. In the reality we live in, there is nothing hidden under the sun. It does not matter how well and how clever it was hidden, along the line, it would have to be revealed to public light. Or someone may have noticed it.It is then the responsibility of such person to determine whether to speak out or to keep silent. However, even at that, that goes further to prove the rule that people would see. Even when you think they do not. When the celebrated Queen met a disgraced end, the people saw it.Even though she had made sure she killed herself quietly, the wind carried the sounds of it. There was no silence to the deeds that she had done .Even nature was willing to sound it near and far.In celebratory moods, the people of the town went a
Obatala, the King of the Gods. The making of a deity who would be the King of Gods and is the King is a mystery that is greatly contested amongst a lot. Notwithstanding, there is even so little information about how the King of Gods came to be. Or how he got to be about the title. But there is one thing which is there for a fact. And that is, Obatala is the First Orisha. Not necessarily the first God or the first deity. Notice the subtle difference between the two of them. An Orisha is not necessarily a Deity. And a Deity may not necessarily be lower than an Orisha. While you may want to get information on why this is so, that would not be the topic for discussion. Some things are best left
You see, the stories about creation are explicit in the true sense of it.When Eledumare created the Universe, he created the first beings that be. Understand first that Eleduamre is a cohesion between the two primary forces that existed before all of time.Olorun, Olofin and Olokun, each of them playing a pivotal role in how the gods did come to be. They set out in various spheres of curation, all of which constitute the reality that we live in.And once they were done, there was the general sensation that something was lacking. Some other present which was not them. Something other than them. Now, at this junction, you may be thinking about how this may correlate with Obatala being the First Orisha. If this is you, then be rest assured that you are wrong. It really does correlate but not in the way that you think it.___________________Culled From: How the Gods Came to Be; As written by Historian Culminus____________________ <
Obatal, the King of the Gods and the King of white cloth. The first amongst the Orisha but certainly not the first being that existed, un terms of being supernatural.Obatala was, in fact, a secondary plan on the part of Eledumare as he/they attended to the affairs of the Earth.Awed by other awesome creation possess, Eledumare set about creating another being which would be like them. Perhaps someone to keep them company. Someone who could best appreciate the art of their works. They did, in their graciousness, give this being powers which could be deemed to be equal to theirs. While it would be rather interesting to discuss why transpired after the creation of this being, the purpose of this document is not to that extent. In other terms, Obatala is the focus of this book. And without doubt, we do know how the story did play out. Obatala was the substitute being who was created in place of the first being. After Eledumare had emerged.Obatala was c
Obatala was not entirely a Saint. Truth be told.He was tasked with the creation of the first beings, and the renovation or in better words, the beautification of the planet Earth which Eledumare had created. To go about that, he had to maintain a constant presence with Eledumare, learning as much as he could. Prior to that, the existence of great and mysterious creatures had already being in place. Here in the Heavens. The Heavens is the first place to ever have living beings. And not just any beings, beings with a measure of tremendous power. However, for the sake of this publication, we should not divulge deeply in that. Needless to say, the core focus of this document is to highlight Obatala, who was created as a substitute for the forest sentient being, after Eledumare. Thus talking extensively on other topics would not necessarily cut it.How did Obatala go down to the Earth? There was no record of World Bridges them. Indeed, there is no substa
Perhoas it was because of the charge that he received that made Obatala erratic. Or it was simply because of the joy that he was the second one to be chosen, the first Orisha went to Earth in drunken stupor. He had taken with him some palmwine which was freshly fermented, thereby having high levels of alcohol in it. This he had gulped down upon getting to then point where he would reach down to Earth. When he had reached rendenzous point, he had being quite drunk enough. But then not drunk to the point that he could not navigate his way. He took the golden chains which Eledumare crafted specially for him upon hi request, the legendary item that he is known for this day - The unbreaable eternal chains of Obatala.Alongside, he took with him a snail shell and then a poultry fowl, hugging most to his left hand while his right hand kept hoisting the golden horn containing the palm wine for his convenience. If we are being honest, it was really understandable. After all, w
With his snail shell, the unbreakable chains of gold and the poultry fowl, Obatala was set to get about his assignment. He chose the best spot available that he could find, using it to descend down to Earth. Of course, he still had his horn of palmwine with hm, caught up in the ecstasy of duty.Once he had gone down, he pulled the chain taut and then proceeded to slip down the rest of the chains to Earth. He had the shell and the fowl under his armpit while he used the other free hand to hold onto the chain. His lips being the nearer of the horn, aided by the tight clamping of his dentition on the lid.And then he got to Earth, setting about his duty.Dutifully note that at that time, all about the Earth was full of Water. Hardly was one spot for him to land. It was at this juncture that he reportedly took out the snail shell and then poured out the sand content to a spot on the waters.Having down that, he set the fowl loose.______________
