Forty Eight

These men looked at each other and kept calm. They all waited for their leader, Roger to speak. No one wanted to be in his bad books and the person who ratted him away about the phone knew he was soon to be dead. That's if he would survive the pain from Tim and his men. When he didn't get any answer, Tim ordered his men to flog them mercilessly. Yet, Roger didn't speak. This was the rule of the game. You don't give away your sponsor if you make mistakes in the deal. Moreover, Roger knew how schemy Amelia could be and he didn't want to incur her wrath.

“What's this? What did you want to make him sign? Kent group?” One man asked. He has gone into the other room where he found the paper and the pen.

“Did you say Kent group?” Tim asked.

“Yes boss. Kent group is written on this paper. It means they are working for them. Maybe they want something from him.”

“That settles it. When we are done with them, we will pay the Kent family a visit. For now, beat them and don't show any mercy!” Tim
