Forty Seven

When he opened his eyes, he found himself alone in a room, his hands and feet were bound with strong ropes. His phone was no where to be found.

“It's good you are awake,” a man whom he hadn't noticed earlier said. Jake looked in his direction and saw that two men were standing at one end of the room.

“What happened? Where am I?” he asked. This question caused the men to laugh loudly.

“We finally caught you in our den, you dog! You got our men injured and there's no way you are getting away with it.”

He signalled his colleague and he bowed and left the room. When he reappeared, he was with a paper and beautiful pen. He pushed Jake roughly and said,

“Sign this if you want to get out of this place alive!”

Jake looked at the paper and frowned deeply. The Kent family were out to step on his toes again. Those foolish people haven't learnt their lessons yet.

“I will never sign that.”

As soon as the words left his mouth, the man who gave him the paper gave him a hot slap on his face. Jake'
