CHAPTER 32

Back at the secure base, Leon and his team wasted no time. Harper was locked away in the most secure cell they had, but Leon knew that his physical containment wasn’t the end. The secrets Harper held were the keys to unraveling a web that stretched far beyond what they’d uncovered so far.

Leon stood in the surveillance room, watching the live feed from Harper’s cell. The man sat there, seemingly calm, his hands cuffed to the table. His eyes, however, were sharp and calculating. He was thinking, plotting, and Leon knew it.

"Clara, how’s that encryption coming along?" Leon asked without turning from the screen.

"We’ve made progress," Clara replied, her fingers flying across the keyboard. "Harper’s files were heavily encrypted, but we’ve managed to crack a few layers. There are references to an entity called ‘The Sovereign Order’—a name that keeps popping up in his communications."
