The morning sun cast long shadows across the city streets, the sky a deceptive shade of blue. It was the kind of day that promised peace, yet Leon, Clara, and the rest of their group knew better. They stood on the rooftop of an old building overlooking the city square, their vantage point giving them a clear view of the open space below where The Order’s gathering would soon take place.

Leon scanned the area, noting the small groups of people already gathering in the square. He could see their confused faces, unaware of the impending danger, oblivious to the sinister plot unfolding around them. “We’re running out of time,” he muttered under his breath.

Clara adjusted the earpiece in her ear, her expression tense. “Our team is in position. Daniel and Zara are stationed near the northwest corner, ready to move in if things go south. Greg is handling the tech—he’s set to jam the signal from Marcus’s device the moment it activates.”
