As Leon and his team regrouped in the dimly lit safe house on the outskirts of the city, the mood was heavy with frustration and anger. The room was filled with the hum of exhausted breaths and the occasional muttered curse as they processed their narrow escape. Clara paced back and forth, her hands clenched into tight fists, while Daniel and Zara sat on a dusty couch, their expressions grim.

Leon stood at the center, his jaw tight as he stared at the map of the city spread out on the table in front of him. He traced the locations they had marked earlier, showing the stronghold of The Order and the places where they had spotted Marcus’s controlled citizens. The spread of red dots seemed to taunt him, a reminder of how badly they had been outmaneuvered.
