After several years of Mark patiently waiting for his first son to show any signs of early stage awakening like his junior siblings, there was no single sign, nothing changed so far.

Ever since his siblings had being admitted into Starfall academy which is located in one of the four countries. They were handpicked when the Starfall country's ambassador came to select talents in each clans.

Every three years, each country takes turns to send their ambassadors to each clans to select children who are called 'the gifted' they are children who awaken their abilities at an early stage. As gifteds, vondrel's siblings were taken too.

Vondrel has long gotten used to being alone and having no one to relate with, other than his parents and few people.

He kept preparing for the upcoming day where he and all the children at the age of sixteen would journey to one of the country of their choice between the four countries to participate in the general awakening process. It is a day that every child waits patiently for, their status and positions in life can as well be decided on that day.

Vondrel woke up feeling tired due to a late hour training routine with his father. His mother hurried him to freshen up and get ready for the event that will commence in two days time. They were meant to cover a great distance before getting to their destination.

He rushed into the bathroom, he hurried out to get dressed, he checked himself in the mirror displaying a dark boy, handsome face with a pencil nose and a very curly black falling long hair. A hair all girls are dying to touch, other than his hair, he is of an average height, and blessed with a well built and well defined physique, possesing an athlete body

He and his mother journeyed to the evercoast country, to participate in the awakening ceremony.

They were able to arrive there on the third day albeit not early as expected, the event has already started.... he witnessed the most biggest and most beautiful place he has ever seen. They went inside and found a seat for themselves after making sure to register his name among the list if participants.

' why do I have the feeling of not belonging here??' he thought but then shrugged it off.

Turning his gaze from the mesmerizing and gargantuan structure of the building, he fixate his eyes on the large platform upfront, where he could see different power figures he hadn't seen or met in his life.

'how would I have met people like this, considering the fact that I live somewhere far away and located near a swamp.' he thought with a disdainful expression.

Looking at what was happening on the platform, he could see a timid boy walking towards an orange colour crystal with no glow, the timid boy was asked to place his hand on the orb which was floating on the air.

The boy did as he was told and immediately there was a bright red glow, a very high resonance with a fire element. The timid boy awakened a pseudo-level fire ability, he awakened a very rare level.

The boy removed his hand from the crystal as he stared at his palm awestruck, immediately he removed his palm from the crystal it went back to its dormant state.

Everyone was surprised, most especially the organizers because there're 5 levels of resonance which are, low level, middle level, high level, pseudo-level and the Titanic level which is the strongest and the rarest level ever.

The pseudo-level is the level most gifted awakens but other talented awakeners do awaken the level, it's also a rare level but not as rare as the Titan level. Many participant came forward to awaken their ability, some awakened the low level resonance while some medium level up to the pseudo-level.

The organisers weren't too happy nor too sad because there wasn't any participant who awakened the Titan level resonance, it's been (10)ten years when last someone awakened the titan level, until a shocking thing occurred.

A girl named Rina Willis walked toward the platform with a çalm face. She placed her hand on the floating orb without waiting to be told. At first there wasn't a reaction for few seconds. Then suddenly the orb started to shake violently, Rina's hand got glued on the orb she couldn't remove it as it shook then a blinding light blue halo shined.

It was so bright that the supervisors and powerful figures present had to interfere. Before they could, a chilling aura spread out and covered the hall. Snow began to fall, cold spread and people shivered .

One of the figures released their aura to counter the chilling aura, it fought against theirs but it couldn't prevail against the aura of beings far more stronger than it. The aura then converged into the crystal which was still shaking violently and later vanished into the girl.

A Titan level ice ability resonance spread out and vanished into thin air, the shaking girl and the crystal stopped shaking instantly before the girl collapse and fainted.

The hall became silent that even a drop of a needle could be heard.

"cough, cough..... attend to the kid" the senior supervisor ordered

Medics ran to the stage while carrying the girl along to go and attend to her.

'Lady luck is finally smiling at me, I can't imagine the praises I would receive from this. Let's get on with this.'

looking at the next in line, he didn't pay much attention to the kid.

' I hope this one will do something, though he doesn't look like someone who amounts to much.'

The senior supervisor was all smiles because an awakener under his jurisdiction awakened a Titan level resonance. He then called on the next awakener but there wasn't any shocking experience not until it got to vondrel turn.

"Yet another waste of time." he mumbled as he stared down at Vondrel who was nervous.

"Let's see what he has to offer, even though I doubt that there would be a different outcome from the previous candidate." he added and called on the next participant.

"Participant Vondrel Vale, step forward "was all he said
