Chapter 6

Jason still chose silence, and he sighed heavily. There was a feeling of tightness and anger that he was currently holding back.

According to his heart, his emotions could no longer be contained because of the insults from the two security guards.

While the two security guards were still holding back their laughter, they saw Jason, who was nervous.

"It's been said that Ms. Ainsley won't want to be disturbed; she still wants to force it. You are nobody in Ainsley's eyes," said the security guard, who was greeted with insults from his colleague.

"Has Mrs. Ainsley come?" Jason asked later, still trying to be friendly to the two security guards.

They even laughed uproariously.

"Yes, that's clear. Mrs. Ainsley is the person who is the most on time and arrives the earliest!" replied one of the security guards.

Jason looked like he was sighing; he was a little surprised when Ainsley came because, while he was at the post, he didn't see Ainsley come and enter the office.

"And it seems that you don't actually know Mrs. Ainsley. You only claim to know you so you can be invited in," the security guard sneered.

"Because obviously, Mrs. Ainsley said she didn't make any promises to anyone!" they answered again.

Jason looked at the two of them, wanting to curse them both.

"I'll call him!" Jason was annoyed. Since earlier, Jason had not informed Ainsley that he would come to Dalton's office. Maybe it could be that Ainsley did not expect that he would come.

"Are you sure this is Miss Ainsley's number?" The security guard taunted The two security guards chuckled.

"Never mind, you should leave this office. Don't disturb us as we go to work. We have a lot of work. With your presence here, our work is disrupted!" annoyed the security guard.

Jason was getting annoyed hearing that because the time was already past nine. Finally, Jason took his cellphone out of his trouser pocket and pressed the call button on Ainsley's number.

"Don't be fooled; we won't believe it unless Miss Ainsley herself orders us to receive you and tells you to come in!" the security guard told Jason.

It looks like the two security guards really made Jason emotional. And Jason secretly memorized the names of the two. Zed and Dion! He always remembered the second name—the two people who had insulted him since morning.

"I'm not bothering you; I just want to meet Ainsley!" he snapped.

"Hey! You dare to yell at us?" asked the security guard named Dion.

Just as Jason was about to answer, the call was already connected.

Then a gentle voice answered his call. I was so annoyed that Jason turned on his cellphone's loudspeaker so that the two security guards would also hear what was being discussed on the cellphone.

"I'm already in Dalton, but your two security guards stopped me!" shouted Jason, annoyed, without first answering the greeting from Ainsley.

"Really? I thought you weren't coming. Go straight to my room," Ainsley answered, which surprised the two security guards. They didn't expect that Ainsley actually knew this strange-looking Jason.

They shrugged their shoulders, indicating they didn't understand what they were hearing—that Ainsley seemed so warm to welcome Jason.

"But they won't let me in!" he answered.

"Why?" asked Ainsley, confused.

"They said you didn't have an appointment with anyone today! Weren't you the one who asked me to come to Dalton today? Was that not a promise?" Jason asked, annoyed. He was already very annoyed because he had been waiting at the security post for so long. And his arrival here was also due to Ainsley's own request.

Jason was confused as to what the promise looked like to them. So Ainsley's request itself was not a promise.

There was a sigh on the other end of the line.

"Okay, I'll be there!" Ainsley answered before hanging up the phone.

Tut!

The two security guards looked at each other after hearing Ainsley's answer on the phone.

Meanwhile, Jason glanced at the two security guards with a triumphant smile.

"I still could not believe it," he asked.

"If I wasn't asked to come here, it's impossible for me to come here, but you guys are so arrogant. You don't even want to tell Ainsley that he has come," Jason said, letting out his anger.

"We'll see how Ainsley sees you looking like this. Your clothes are very neat and even classy, but look at those chicken legs. In our rules, we don't accept guests with an impolite appearance!" replied the security guard named Agus.

It didn't take long for a beautiful woman to come to the security post, walking elegantly. A pair of clear glasses perched on her face, and a tight shirt that fitted every curve of her body.

"Hi, I'm Ainsley!" He introduced himself.

"Jason Maierer!" answered Jason while welcoming Ainsley's gentle outstretched hand.

Jason was invited by Ainsley to go to his room.

"Let's go to the room. We'll discuss it inside," Ainsley asked softly.

Jason nodded and walked side by side with Ainsley.

"How about it? Is there enough evidence? Get ready, I will get you fired for not having good manners with guests!" Jason whispered to Zed, the security guard who was sitting closest to him. Zed's face flushed with fright.

While walking, Ainsley suddenly laughed, making Jason confused—what was that beautiful, big-breasted woman laughing at? When walking, even both her breasts seemed to come swaying.

"You're not wearing shoes?" asked Ainsley, still holding back his laughter.

"Long story short, all my shoes are at Damien's house," Jason answered casually.

"Damien? The owner of FNews?" asked Ainsley, probing. And then looked at Jason's face, then covered his mouth with both hands.

"It turns out you're the viral newsreader." asked Ainsley, looking into Jason's face.

Jason just nodded slowly.

"Who are you, Damien?" she asked.

"Daughter-in-law," Jason replied, looking down.

Ainsley just nodded and continued walking elegantly towards his room.

The ten-floor office looked so magnificent that Jason was stunned because, in Jason's imagination, the 'Tours and Travel' company only focused on ticket sales and the travel business. However, what Jason saw today was completely beyond his expectations—an office that stood majestically. Ainsley's room is located on the seventh floor.

By using the elevator, and no more talk between the two. While on the way to Ainsley's room.

Check.

Ainsley opened the door to his room.

"Welcome to Dalton, Mr. Jason Mairer!" Ainsley greeted Jason and invited him to sit in his room.

"Thank you," Jason answered quietly, because he was still confused by what happened. He was still unsure about Ainsley's welcome.

Jason was already sitting in Ainsley's room, a beautiful woman in sexy clothes that printed her body.

Ainsley sat down in his oversized chair, took off his glasses, and then looked up inquiringly.

"Please read this!" said Ainsley handed Jason a piece of paper and asked him to read it. Ainsley said it in a slightly harsh and cynical manner.
