Chapter 7

"Why are you begging a bum like me?" asked Nelson in a cold tone, making Max feel even more depressed.

"I'm sorry, sir; I know I was wrong. Please forgive me. I will do anything to ease your anger." Max, of course, continued to persuade Nelson not to fire him.

"You really will do whatever I ask?" Nelson said as he sat down in a nearby chair.

Hearing the question from his boss, Max nodded his head quickly. "I'll do whatever it takes, sir!"

"Bark like a good dog," Nelson replied sarcastically.

"Woof... woof... woof..." Max quickly did what Nelson told him to do. Not only did Max bark like a dog, he also knelt and wiggled his butt like a dog.

Seeing that horrifying sight, of course, the other four men who had been bullying and insulting Nelson instantly felt fear in their hearts.

"Turn around," Nelson said with an amused laugh as he gave his order. Max, who heard his boss's order, immediately did what Nelson asked.

"Hahaha smart dog." Nelson laughed in satisfaction, while Ben, who saw it, was embarrassed. The man decided to sneak out of the room, but Nelson noticed.

"Good dog, please call the five bodyguards outside and lock the door so no one escapes." Nelson gave the order coldly, making the four men think of running away even more frightened.

"You come out on all fours, not standing up because you are a dog, not a human!" Nelson warned Max, who wanted to get up from his position.

Max, on all fours, quickly called the bodyguards as Nelson wanted, and now the five bodyguards Nelson called looked confused.

"Mr. Max, what's wrong?" asked one of the five bodyguards, looking at Max with a strange look because Max had been known as a very arrogant man because of his position, so seeing the arrogant man turn into an obedient dog was very strange.

"Watch your language, Alex; this is Mr Nelson, the new nightclub owner!" Max quickly warned his subordinate.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Nelson, for being disrespectful," Alex, who realized he was wrong, quickly bowed to beg for forgiveness.

"No problem, and are you all satisfied with the facts?" Nelson asked casually while pointing at Jack, Ben, Marcell and Arthur.

"We're sorry, Nelson, we were wrong." Marcell quickly knelt to Nelson. Meanwhile, the other three people were just silent, not knowing what to do.

"What did you do wrong?" asked Nelson again casually. Nelson now felt that the power of money was charming to bully those who had dared to insult him.

"I was wrong to doubt and mock you. I beg your forgiveness, Mr. Nelson."

Hearing Marcell's pleading words, Nelson burst out laughing. "Hahaha, bark like a dog; I will consider your apology!"

Without thinking, Marcell did what Nelson told him to do.

"It's nice to have two very obedient dogs." Nelson looked with satisfaction at Max and Marcell.

"Max, it is now your job to chase these three away, but before that, you must bite them and never let any of them set foot in my nightclub!" Nelson gave another order.

"Why are you acting so childish, Nelson? Don't you know that I am a VVIP member here? You will lose your loyal customers," Ben said quickly. The man certainly didn't want to be dishonourably evicted from his place of privilege.

"Was he able to book this place with his own money?" Nelson asked Max without paying attention to Ben, who was still acting arrogant.

"No sir, Mr Ben got this place because his brother is the VVIP cardholder of this place. So indirectly, without his brother's VVIP card, Mr. Ben cannot book this room."

"It turns out he's just a loser who licked his brother's feet to splurge? How pathetic. Please block the card immediately. And add all the credit for the insult he has done to the owner of this club."

Ben, who heard Nelson's words, naturally turned pale as he knew his brother would be furious with him if his VVIP status were lost because of him.

"Nelson, don't be like this, please," Ben finally knelt before Nelson.

"Tsk, why are you kneeling to a poor man like me? Wouldn't that be detrimental to your very noble identity?" Nelson said contemptuously, turning all of Ben's words back on him.

"Max, please drag those two men; I saw them drinking a few glasses of expensive drinks here earlier. Ask them to pay immediately, and if they don't have money, take off their clothes to pay for all the drinks they've had. One more thing, put them on the blacklist, so for the rest of their lives, they won't be able to set foot in here again!" Nelson did not forget to punish Jack and Arthur for daring to insult him.

"Nelson, don't do it, please!" shouted Jack in frustration. The man realized he had no money and didn't want to be humiliated like that.

"Please forgive me, Nelson!" Arthur also shouted, but the bodyguards quickly dragged the two men away as Nelson waved his hand for the two noisy men to leave.

Seeing how Nelson treated his two friends, Ben quickly pleaded with Nelson again. "Nelson, please don't do that to me; I can pay whatever you want."

"How much money do you have?" Nelson scolded in a flat tone.

"Nelson, I will do anything, but please don't take away my brother's VVIP. I'll be a dog, yes I'll be a good dog for you!" Ben quickly assumed a dog-like attitude and began barking and wiggling his butt like a dog that was busy seeking his master's attention.

With a lazy face, Nelson watched as Ben transformed into a natural dog. However, after watching Ben's acrobatics for a while, Nelson felt bored.

"Is being a dog enough to forgive all the wrongs you've done to me?" Nelson said, making Ben stop rolling around and look back at Nelson.

"Tell me what to do. I'll do it!" Ben replied, hopefully. The man had thrown away all his pride, realizing that his brother's anger was the beginning of his poverty, for he could only flaunt his wealth because of his brother.
