While Adam was trying to figure out the origin of Wolf God.
In a village to the east, a young girl who was resting in her room heard a weird noise outside the house.
It was like something scratching on the wall. For a few minutes, she ignored the noise until it got louder. Initially, she was hoping someone else in the house would check the situation, but since the noise was so disturbing; she decided to go and see for herself.
‘Strange,’ she found that their living room was empty.
“Ren, is that you?” she yelled her younger brother’s name, thinking he must be playing a prank on her.
She listened for a few more seconds, but other than the scratching noise, it did not answer her. Finally, she lost her calm.
“I will catch you myself,” yelling she got out of the house.
The angered girl made her way toward the back of the house where the noise was coming from. However, her brother was not there.
She saw a strange-looking girl with long black hair in a white dress squatting by the house wall.
“Who are you? What are you doing here?” the girl felt strange and got angry at the same time.
It was a stranger who was disturbing her rest. However, the latter kept doing what she was doing, without turning back or giving an answer.
“Hey, I am talking to you,” she approached the girl and touched her shoulder.
And the moment she touched; her hand went numb as if the other person was made of ice. “Just who………”
Her voice trailed off looking at the face turned in an impossible angle toward her, there were no eyes, mouth and nose looked as if it was cut off from the face. The most disturbing part was the skin: it looked as if it was about to fall off at any moment.
‘No,’ she wanted to run off.
At the moment, with all her remaining strength. She turned back to find everything became dark, her house was gone, and the village had disappeared.
“Come, let’s play,” a harsh voice called her from behind.
A moment later her scream broke out in the dark, and then everything went silent.
…
Inside the house, a young boy who was playing with his toy looked at the opened door in confusion, “Why didn’t sister come back yet?”
“Come back from where?” a middle-aged woman who came out with a man from another room asked the boy.
“She went out just now,”
“I will check” the man got out of the house.
“Nina….”
Within a few minutes, the whole village was on alert, even the guards came looking for the girl who had vanished from her own house.
“It’s already the fourth,” an old man who joins the search muttered under his breath
……
The standoff between Karina’s adventurer party and Adam was still going on in the faraway road.
It was because Adam was going through system introduction and pondering himself; how to brag saying he was a follower of the Wolf God?
‘What’s with this executioner of the evil part?’ he was sure if he tried to execute someone now, it would be the other way around.
Karina and her people however were in a difficult situation. Their hands were on their weapons, as Adam was keeping his silence, making them feel immense pressure.
“Mr Adam,” she tried to speak calmly as possible to him again.
“I am a follower of the Wolf God,” finally he gave them a reply.
Even if it was only one sentence, it gave everyone some relief. Then everyone realised what the man said.
‘Follower of the Wolf God?’ Karina barely held her words without letting them out, but she was not the only one here.
“Gods in this era?” one young girl among them let loose her tongue, making everyone feel helpless.
And at that moment, she felt the piercing blue gaze on her. She immediately looked at the ground with no courage to face the eyes that looked like judging their every move.
“Mr Adam,” Karina wanted to facepalm herself.
Just when the things started to cool down, one of their own let her mouth run wild.
“She is just a child, please don’t take offence,”
Karina herself was an 8th tier warrior, among the young warriors, she was powerful. Still, she had the confidence to go against even a mage at a similar level. However, she was in no mood to learn what was the limit of capability of this so-called man of the gods.
“We came here because you are alone Mr Adam,” she hopes to make sure there will be no blood tonight “If it’s convenient you can travel with us tomorrow our carriages are faster. We are travelling toward Westwood village.”
The last sentence from her caught the interest of Adam.
‘Westwood village?’ even though he had no idea where it was, he felt it can’t be that far from the place he wants to go, right?
“I am going to Westwood forest,” he made the statement, straying to get a hint from the other side.
To be honest, he was on full alert and panic. As he was unarmed against real adventurers. However, all his emotions were hidden under the robe.
“Great, we are heading toward the same direction, Mr Adam,” she could finally have some relief, as the latter was ready to travel with them.
“Then, shall we go to our camp?”
“How long will it take to reach there?” Adam wanted to know if he could reach there in time.
Karina had nothing to wonder about as there were many places, they could reach the Westwood forest, but Westwood village was one of the closest.
“Day after tomorrow by noon we will be there, Mr Adam,”
Adam didn’t know what to say.
‘Maybe these clothes have some effect,’ he thought about how he became a beggar to Mr Adam.
And getting there in two days was the best.
‘Completing this mission becomes too easy’ he thought, getting up from the ground.
However, to Adam, there was no such thing as a free meal in this world.
…………………………….
“What a monster,” said Archer, keeping the night watch in the camp nudged at the young magician next to him.
“Who?” the young man had no idea who they were talking about
“Keep it down, he can hear us,” old hunter nodded toward Adam who was still sitting with his back against a tree
“I thought he was sleeping,” the Young man looked at Adam, who had his eyes closed and breathing steadily.
“No, since he came here, he is always half-awake, never once letting his guard down,” the old hunter couldn’t see through the mysterious man.
“Do you believe in gods?” The magician had his doubts. The only thing he knew was there was an old church in West Coast city that had a history of over a thousand years.
“In other kingdoms, there are some churches for different gods, they also have powerful knights, but most don’t have many followers except for the few,” old Archer has seen many things this young man had not seen.
“But here in Crimson empire there is almost none, her majesty is not a believer of any God,”
“Of course, why do we need gods, we are strong,” the young man said with pride.
In the crimson empire, their blood was naturally strong. And even women were born with the ability to practise strength to become an adventurer.
“I don’t know about that, but that man was not something people like us should offend,” the old archer got up to go around the camp again.
However, when this man was around, he felt a weird sense of security like around this man there was the protection of gods?
……………………….
The next morning the group left the camp after an early breakfast. Adam was the only one who didn’t have anything to eat. First, he didn’t trust other people’s food. Especially in this unknown land. Second, he could save some food if he ate near midday.
Adam got a space in the first carriage with few experienced adventurers who know when to speak. And Karina, as the leader, got on the last carriage to watch the rear. They had few scouts going in the front to check the road.
Adam was fully focused on the road as they diverted into the road leading to the east with much less traffic. According to these people, there were few hunting villages in this area guarded by one stronghold. However, the growing number of trees and bushes made Adam feel worried.
Along the way he got hungry and as his attention was fully focused on the road, he almost had forgotten the surrounding people.
Adam took out a bun from system storage. Suddenly he remembered there were others, Adam immediately looked around and saw amazement in their eyes, but since there was no hostility, he decided to keep quiet and focus back on the road.
However, these experienced groups of people were wondering how to let their leader know that this man can use space-time magic. And for that, the magician should be at least around the 9th tier. They felt lucky to have accompanied this man, 9th tier magicians were not rare like 10th tier but still, they were, like magic warriors, a force to be reckoned with.
Adam, who was worried about the road, suddenly noticed the silver glow in the bushes.
‘Not good,’
“Stop,” he immediately ordered.
The carriage driver didn’t want to offend the 9th tier magician. And didn’t ask any more questions before stopping.
Adam waited patiently for a moment looking at the bushes and once confirmed there were no movements. He got out of the carriage to see what was in the bushes.
“Mr Adam, what is the problem?” Karina, who was angry, still kept her voice normal.
‘if you want to do something, please wait until we stop for lunch,’ she complained in her heart. Latter however completely ignored her as he was worried about his safety.
He approached in a bit of a hurry to the location with a silver glow. And there was a broken arrowhead fallen in the bushes, but what worried him more was that the place was too clean, as if the arrowhead came here alone. However, it was new and the small red rust on the steel tip was most probably blood.
Karina also noticed the abnormal place, “we better get out of here Mr Adam,” the man impressed her.
He noticed something their scouts didn’t see. However, if there was a danger, she was not going to face it.
“We are getting near to the Eastern stronghold, and if we don’t stop for a break, we can reach their checkpoint before sundown,” she looked at the man still keeping his eyes on the bushes. “What do you think, Mr Adam?” she asked with respect for this weird man.
Adam gave a nod and made his way back to the carriage, looking at the far where the tall stone walls could be seen
‘Hopefully, nothing happens,’

Luck was on their side, or whatever happened at the place where Adam found arrowhead might have been insignificant. The group managed to reach the open fields of the stronghold by afternoon.Adam noticed it had thick walls made of stone and a large area around it was grassland. He heard one old adventurer explaining to someone else that this place and surrounding the villages were the actual origin of the Crimson Empire. That was the reason this place had great security and high defence. Many roads were leading to different areas from the stronghold, and the surrounding area had a considerable number of small campsites. Adam realised this place was busy, although it was not at the same level as West Coast city, to an area without a town, the number of caravans and people gathered were extremely high.Once they reached the intersection between the roads, a small group of guards stopped the carriages. And Karina, who had experience, immediately went to them. Adam realised he was lucky to
Blood Wolf Chapter 07: Awakened Wolf
“Yes,”His word made the smile on Carl’s face grow even brighter. He was not optimistic about a 9th tier mage travelling with a group of adventurers. Still, he will have all the available help.Westwood Village was not some common village. All the men here are at least around 6th tier warriors. Therefore, the disappearances were not something to disregard.Another thing that Carl could feel was the weird sense of superiority coming from this mysterious man. He has to say he hated it because they were warriors. The Crimson empire had the least number of Magicians, assassins and even well-trained arches. Because they loved to rely on their strength. In the military, Magicians didn’t receive the same respect as a magic warrior who knew how to fight. “I will check the surroundings first,” Adam didn’t wait for his response. He wanted to get away from this awkward position. Also, he needed to get the system reward. Adam turned to the jungle, looking for a secluded place.Looking at his depa
Blood Wolf Chapter 08: Curse
Adam had no idea he had caused a scene as he arrived at the Westwood Village. After all, he was astonished by the magnificent village. Buildings and roads looked much older and historical. Most people wore simple clothes or animal skins.Since no one stopped him at the village gate, he simply walked in. And he looked at the giant men walking around. He felt, even with his new strength; he was inferior to these men. The village had no visible area for farming, and he assumed that these people must be mostly hunters.Adam suddenly heard numerous footsteps, and he could clearly say that at least fifty or sixty men were moving together.‘Hunting party?’He looked in the direction people were coming from, ‘Ehh, definitely not a hunting party.’ He saw a few familiar faces among the group. That included Empire Calvary and Village guards. ‘They must be investigating,’ he glanced again at the group approaching from far and got back to his business. He at least wanted to take some time to loo
Blood Wolf Chapter 09: Challenged
It took them more than half an hour to prepare for the search. The final group was around a hundred people, including Karina’s adventurer group, Empire Calvary and village guards.Other than that. Hunters from the village, Old chief, and to Adam’s amusement, Sean, the old priest of the village also arrived with the search party. Some men carried heavy bags with food and water. Adam started to think that it might be a long night.“Master Adam, we are ready to go. Should we send scouts ahead?” Carl was worried about what they would find with the girl.“Just follow me,” Adam took the lead without thinking twice. It would be night soon, and the more he delayed the search, the more the girl would be in danger. He didn’t forget what was the description of the curse by the system. It was not some magic, but a curse created by world laws. He had no idea what that meant, but if the system was correct, the curse was much more dangerous than any magic.“We are ready to move,” Joran finally finis

Blood Wolf Chapter 11: Knowledge and Worry
‘One mission is over and another came right after,’ Adam wondered why there was another mission. And this time, there was no punishment for failing.‘I might fail this one,’ he thought, looking at the given duration. Blood Wolf Chapter 12: The Secret
Other than old Sean who decided to stay and help, the others went away, giving Adam some room to work. Joran initially wanted to persuade him to rest, but with the current condition, it’s best that they resolved the problem fast. Therefore, they decided to let him work in the end.“Master Adam, can’t we send this to your church?” Sean was trying all measures to get it done.‘What church?’ Adam shook his head. “Not an option master Sean, this book says they destroyed the ones they found, which means there was more than one. We should find a way to do it ourselves or we will be in trouble again,” He was fully concentrating on the book while Sean was going through other books hoping to find the ritual.“I thought God will protect us, in the end, in his holy place this evil thing is still effective,” Sean said in a disappointed tone‘What god? Should I tell him the truth?’ Adam wondered halting his reading.‘Maybe I should,’ he decided“Your god is no longer here Master Sean, maybe when t
Blood Wolf Chapter 13: Abandon by the Gods
Sean walked out of the room with a complex heart. He had to report their finding to Joran. His god, God of Harvest, had abandoned them. Sean didn’t doubt Adam’s words. Mainly because, while all these disappearances happen in the village, he prayed, day and night, but never received any response. Most people in the village considered him as a madman for believing in gods. However, today, they were facing a challenge that mortals couldn’t face.Until Joran told them that a similar thing happened about 200 years ago, he did not know there was such a disaster. If people were living from that era, there could only be around a few hundred in all the Crimson Empire. What made him more depressed was that there was another God’s believer that could help them.“Sean, what happened?” He was deep in thought he did not know there were many people inside his old Church until Joran’s voice woke him from his daze.“Sigh, he has found the solution for the cursed bracelet,” he unintentionally let out a

“Amazing.”Despite her words, the older girl saw several teardrops in the eyes of her little sister, and she didn’t say anything about that. The story was sweet and sour. She picked her up and held her against her chest. Their mother and father were talking with some other families in the distance. Many pilgrims and worshipers walked around them, and some were telling the same story as her. It was the story of a legend. “That is the story of the Great Blood Wolf.” The older girl ended the story, holding her younger sister’s hand in front of the massive statue of their Grand Empress and Her Consort. The Blood Wolf. “Oh….” Her little sister looked elated, looking at the massive statue of the couple. The greatest rulers of the world. She knew her sister would ask about this story again and again, but she was happy to see her little tail swinging in excitement. “Are you happy?” “Yes. I am very happy. I want to be as strong as the Grand Empress in the future.” “Of Course, you

“Grandfather?” The old man shook when he heard this call. He wanted to strangle this thing to death, but first, he needed an answer. “Why did you do that? Why did you kill my Grandson?” His face looked tired and battered. Time was not a concept for him, and he hoped to see his Grandchild someday. He came here because he almost felt the presence of his little boy. However, it wasn’t him. He looked at Chaos. The first time he met him, this kid attacked him and even injured him. However, he treated Chaos as a child and even adopted him into the family. He grew up together with his only Grandson. They were great friends and family. His Grandson never treated Chaos badly. That was the reason he permitted Chaos to go with his Grandson when he left to become the first Guardian of the universe. Chapter 501: Grandfather
Adam crashed onto the ground with full force. He didn’t want to slow down when he saw the hideous figure standing on the beach. He knew what it was. He gritted his teeth to ignore the head-splitting pain that came with the memories. He was finally looking at the nemesis of this world; Chaos. Adam wished he could end this thing with one blow. Because it was something that shouldn’t exist. He was betting the lives of too many people, and the life of the Empress. If he failed right now, he would fail the entire world forever. His punch landed inches away from his target, but that thing moved several metres away with ease. The ground shattered under his blow, and the foul stench of the chaos entered his nose. He finally understood why the world and Mahisha failed to access this ground. Because it was contaminated by Chaos. He already created armour around his body and coated his sword with the aura of the Abyss. He didn’t have a reason to drag this. ‘This is not going to be
Chapter 500: Shatter
“Still nothing, commander.” “What exactly is going on?” Morga Steelbeard was lost. Not in the sea, but in his own thoughts. After two long months in the sea, they finally found their destination. As the second fleet commander of the Crimson Empire, he had an army of his own. Although it was still not at the level of Sakura’s fleet with twelve warships and two supply ships; his seven-shipped fleet was the second powerhouse of the sea. The land was just ahead of them, but they failed to find anything even after searching for two days. The western continent looked desolate and abandoned. There were not even large animals. This was too alarming for him. They saw birds and small rodents, but nothing bigger than that. The forest looked untainted for generations. He didn’t even think about sending a landing party. The risk was too much. ‘What exactly is happening?’ They passed through the so-called barrier about a week back, and there was nothing in between the northern continent an
Chapter 499: The First Dragon Rider
“We should leave!” “Yes, Your Majesty.” Adam smiled, looking at the Empress. He wondered how many changes she made within the day to the castle. “I changed the 12th floor entirely. You should go and see.” “I will, Your Majesty.” He was sure it would be a combination of blue, shades of blue, and some gold, white and silver, and more shades of blue. There was nothing more to think, but he knew way better than to voice it out. ‘It is a good thing I have Mahisha to help her.’ He wouldn’t get any time to train his powers if he had to change the Abyss castle by himself. He sometimes felt the Empress was playing with the castle because it could be changed based on her simple thoughts. He didn’t care much at all. As long as she was happy with it. When she came here for the first time, she had a lot of complaints about the dull colours and the bad choice of material. In the end, he had no choice but to let her handle the decorations and colours as she pleased. “Not now. We have

Adam moved fast and landed in the area he saw the camps. He simply nodded at the people who started greeting him,He already found Alex, and he didn’t seem to be alright. “My Lord!!”Adam nodded at David before entering the tent. Already, there were several healers around the bed, including Mila. ‘Not good.’He felt Alex’s breathing wasn’t stable. “What happened?”The people made way for him with ease.“My Lord. There seemed to be a weird poison.”“Poison?”He didn’t smell any poison, but he realised Alex was unstable. Someone had removed the clothes from his upper body. His veins could be seen on his chest and there was a back lump on his chest. The wound was gone, but he wasn't getting any better. “Hm… Divine power.”He didn’t expect the enemy to use such a weapon. If it was before, he would have had a hard time dealing with this, but not anymore. The divine power was just another source of power restricted to this world. Although it was the most powerful, it wasn’t powerful en

“Are you alright?”“Yes, Your Majesty.”Adam sat with the Empress, looking at the two girls playing on the beach. To him, knowing the truth didn’t hurt much. Rather, he felt relieved to know the truth. ‘Am I angry?’He couldn’t say no. He was angry. If he didn’t lose his father, things would have been much different for them. “We have to run!” Oliver heard someone yelling, but he didn’t know what to do. “He followed the orders of the king, coming here to destroy the Summer Palace city. The reason was to simply buy them more time. According to the information they received, the army was led by the infamous three Generals of the Crimson Empire. Since the main army was already divided into three, there shouldn’t be enough power to fight against twenty 10th-tier powerhouses at the same time. Besides, the Crimson Empire army should have more than enough Dwarven machines to face them. However, there shouldn't be enough time to move them for a defensive battle or to mount them on a wall. In a sense, there was no way this city could stand against them. What really worried him was the results. They were doing all these things based on the assumption that the owner of the taboo name wasn’t as powerful as they said. However, he didn’t understand why they were underestimating the revenge of the Crimson Empi
Chapter 495: Darkness Descend
Alex floated toward the north using his magic. He wasn’t as weak as he once was when he passed through the Summer Palace city long ago. However, it was a lie to say that he wasn’t afraid. Their original battle plan was to separate their enemies by attacking the different parts of the Blood Baron Kingdom at the same time. Also, by using a portion of their units and the help of the Kingdom of Boria, they should have been able to delay the reinforcements from the other five kingdoms. Lady Helen was to show herself at the Dwarven mountain to create a distraction and intimidation. That wasn’t all. He was the one that took out the enemy scouts near the borders of the Crimson Empire with ease. Then he asked for the help of Lady Helen to take on the Wind Hold city to prevent any news from leaking to the rest of the city. He knew their enemies would realise the threat once the army was divided and Lady Helen fortified the Dwarven mountain. It all went as they planned, but he realised h
