Chapter 455 Get Used to the Idea

The nightclub is crowded, the music "Street Dance" by Break Machine is at full volume.

Adrian is feeling annoyed, not exactly what he expected. He struggles his way through the crowd and reaches the bar.

Adrian asks the bartender, "Jesus Christ, is this place always like this, chaotic?"

"It's because today is Sunday." The bartender replies smiling at the crowded venue.

"And that music is for the sole purpose of making us deaf?"

The bartender continues laughing. "I see it's your first time. You get used to it."

"Then let's get used to the drinks you have."

Adrian orders a classic cocktail. After being served, he drinks it turning to look at the crowd. And it is from looking at the crowd that he sees Vera walking among those present.

"Wow, I wonder if today is my lucky day?" He mutters.

Vera approaches the counter and stops right next to Adrian. "A beer please!"

Adrian quips, "Is beer an appropriate drink for a lady
