Cindy cradled onto him again, which plummeted his smile quicker. The inside was like a regular shopping centre, however, the shops were occupied by people for various things.
Some were selling stuff while others were using it for shelter. He also saw that some shops were working and you could enter. He nodded his head in approval.
‘This is perfect, the fact that trade is still open is good as I can still gain goods’
He saw these black and green patches, and everything looked much more dull. The only light source was from the window at the top for the upper floor, and the bottom floor had torches and lanterns hanging from places. It felt like a dungeon.
He saw a bench and sat down, but before sitting he stopped.
‘Is somebody come and launch at me?’
Before he could think it through, Cindy’s big butt placed itself onto it. There was again green studd, which looked like moss. However, when he touched it, he noticed the object had turned green. This stuff was spreaded out through the whole city. He thought it was only something small but was surprised how abundant it was. Cumas looked around again to see if there were others, possibly going to smack him down like in the movies.
Humans minded their own business, which pleased Cumas. Cindy pressed hard against Cumas and started talking. “Hey, how do you feel?” He nodded, “Yeah, I am fine, we just have to find that Daisy, then I can find it out.”
She pouted, “why do you want to look for that girl that bad, you have one right here,” her face made him laugh.
He was still happy from his theory being right that he was a bit light-headed. She smiled when he did but realised something.
“Where are we going to stay?”
Cumas just realised.
‘I am still locked out of the bunker, well great’
He sighed and said, “I don't know,” giving a sad face. She started thinking and letting herself go from him, and saying, “I don't want to admit it, but we might have to go to the girl then.”
She turned her head so she wasn't facing him. Cumas said, “yeah, she might give us a stay, or we might not find her and be like those guys,” he pointed at the people in the newspaper, acting like homeless people. He broke his trance of happiness when he saw the dark world.
Cindy immediately pulled him over to him. She hugged him. She saw his face blush a lot but Cumas confirmed something.
‘I was too happy over something like this, when did it affect me? How? I have to work it out.’
He moved away from her hug. He turned, having a beet red face, she giggled a bit.
Cumas got up and saw a person walking. He went to them and asked, “hey, do you know where I can find Daisy?” He gave a light smile, but the person overshadowed them.
They sighed, “if you mean her then she will be on the second floor in the toy shop.”
He mumbled a bit but Cumas said, “thank you very much,” understanding what he said.
The person just moved on. Cumas noticed that he couldn't tell whether they were a boy or a girl, he looked again as being on the first layer there was barely any light, even though there were torches.
‘Armour’
The reason he could not tell was because of the mask they were wearing, a helmet and their clothing was plated with metal.
‘Is this some RPG?’
He turned his head to see something in the dark distance.
‘Oh, oh no, a gun?’
He moved back to Cindy who was still on the bench. “I know where she is,” he rushley said. Cindy looked perplexed by how his face was.
He pointed at the guy with a gun, she wasn't phased by this, she said, “man, he has a gun.”
‘This isn't a normal reaction, what? Personality change?’
He nodded and said, “It's crazy,” she just smiled. Both moved slowly, Cindy enjoyed it so she wrapped herself over him.
Cumas let it happen.
‘She might find out’
He hid his expression as he couldn't control it. A twitch around his eyes, his teeth were showing as he was biting lip. His face was tense and wrinkles were forming. Cindy was constantly glancing suspiciously at him but it was too dark that she couldn't see his expression.
There was a staircase, it still had the same pattern as the rest of the building. It was weird. The light shone down and you could see it so well, it was like a holy scenery.
A butterfly flew down. It was white, you could see it from a mile away by how it sticks out. People that were just aimlessly glancing around the room saw it and stared. They were mesmerised. Cumas saw Cindy look at it as well, all the people around were doing that.
‘I know that this is a butterfly, but why?’
He wanted to just walk up stairs. Cindy said to him, “isn't it beautiful, a-”
She didn't finish her sentence and what scared Cumas even more was the fact that a person, who was coming down, stopped immediately when he saw the butterfly.
It flapped its wings once and ascended, passing the guy. He looked in shok, as if he experienced something traumatising.
‘What tha hell?’
He looked around again and everyone returned to normal. Cindy started walking again and Cumas reluctantly followed her.
Both went up the stairs, dashing through rapidly. When walking up to god's doorsteps, they had light. It was a bit blinding but it was much better than the place below.
‘So, why do people stay at the bottom?’
Cumas realised something.
‘What do I want to ask Daisy?’
He bit his lip, looking sad, not realising that he stopped walking. Cindy saw that. Cumas got scared when she stopped and turned to him but she smiled. “I would like to, think about it,” Cumas nodded.
“Let's go then to her,” he said softly. They kept on walking, maintaining a constant pace. Cumas looked around seeing a massive difference to how everything is and feels. First was the natural light. It was always dull as the sun was covered but you could see things much more better, the grey and green spreading around had many more shades and Cumas did not have to guess where he was going, he could confirm by looking.
More people were talking, smiling a bit, and much better shops. In the corner of his eye he saw a restaurant.
‘Civilization still stands for peace, that's good’
He was pleased by how everything was taking place. Cindy then stopped and looked at Cumas again. “You said that we were looking for a toy store, right?”
Cumas nodded, starting to remember about that guy.
‘Why was he wearing something ridiculous like that from an Rpg or something?’
Cindy saw him staring again, she giggled by where he was staring at and when he broke loose, he said sorry by just stopping and gave an excuse he was thinking. Cumas started to quickly walkt to the store. Cindy, excited by what transpired, stayed a bit behind him.
‘What a lousy excuse’ She thought gleefully, ‘it still is working on you, that's good to know.’
Cumas did not understand everything in the world, he knew that, but him doing research on human behaviour made him think he could prepare himself for some things. When he entered, there was a huge space in the centre, toys arranged still on the racks on the side, also having that weird colouring and at the end of the room there she was. Daisy, the woman, had a yellow dress, white gloves and a crown on her head, reminding Cumas of specific games he would play at a friend's house. ‘You have to be kidding me’She looked at the pair of them as they entered and a man came out of a pile of toys from somewhere. “Hey, stop it for a second, you can't come in here for no reason,” he wore white gloves as well and put his hand forward. He wore a toy suit, made for kids, making Cumas think he was in the wrong place. “We were looking for Daisy, Dan told me to come find her,” he acted casual and Daisy nodded. She got up, standing from her throne and walking down. The man looked scared. “You peop
Cindy had a manifestation of some kind of power where she hypnotises people, Cumas came across this when he was far too excited over a little detail from the whole grand of things. He came to find that the men let them off far too easily, and found that she had affected him before. ‘Alright then, let's go back to the topic’“Um, so can you please explain to me how-”She put her finger in front of his mouth, she looked at him with great pleasure, scaring the poor man.‘What is she doing?’She moved in, her face was very close to his, a slow motion drifted her towards him. He put his own finger on her.“Stop, just stop,” he moved her aside and stood up, still perplexed why Cindy was on the floor.‘Does she also have a ‘power’?’She looked at Daisy again and said with a stern voice, “I am not here for a make out, I am here for you to tell me info, so spray it princess!”He scowled at her, she chuckled. Cindy was on the floor, confused by what was happening. ‘Wait, so I couldn't even se
He left the area to look around. ‘I still have time to kill so it's really fine whatever I do?’ GRUMBLE! He got a look as few people walked past him. ‘Well, great, I am hungry, I was happy to avoid it but I need to find a place to eat’ The mall was not the largest, but it would take a while to go from point a to point b. He was glad he just wasn't overweight. ‘If I only followed the damn quest, how annoying, should just have done it’ He huffed and puffed out because of what he lost from the bunker, but also he was glad. I would run out of food for sometime so I guess it's not terrible. He went down the fairly light place, still surprised by how late it was getting. ‘Just need to find a place and I would be gold.’ He saw in the distance bright light and a crowd running over it. STAMP! STAMP! He heard the loud noise coming from behind. They were girls, one was far apart from the rest. “Come on, you don't want to miss it,” she hurried her friends. Cumas wanted to ask bu
Everything ended fine. They stopped playing, making barely any mistakes. When he looked around, he saw all of them having terrible faces, one girl was better than the four. She smiled, “good, you held up on the pressure,” she glanced at Cumas, licking her lips. “Have a brea, then you are up. An applause could be heard on stage, which Cumas felt was satisfying. “Girls, you know where to set up, you, come here,” she pointed at Cumas. He looked confused. She looked over the seat, rustling in it and said, “bring the next one, while I speak to him.”Cumas got glances from the girls, but they left peacefully. “How, how did you do that?”Cumas replied, “I dont know.” His fingers were together, locked behind his back. They were shaking frantically through his whole arm. He got stared down again and then she asked, “What's your name?”Her voice was malicious. He immediately replied with,”Cumas!” She nodded.“Well, cumas,” she spoke slowly, he felt relief all over his body, “if you need any hel
Cumas realised that he would need one of those cards, but he didn't want to ask. He looked at the clock. He thought of bringing it up and it popped up.[10:43:12][10:43:11][10:43:10]He sighed heavily but hoped he would survive in the terrible position he was in. He just waited for this to all end. He slouched back into his chair and thought about what he should do. The potential worst thing that could happen was him meeting the two girls again. He deducted that so he just thought he should stay with them. He saw a few people come back into the area, staring to sit down, also talking. He realised that there was no one wearing an iron plate like the guy down the area. He wondered why it had just been shown to himself. He really didn't want to be put in a bad position but he still accepted it. He saw the waitress bring pizza, who was having problems carrying the food. He groaned in his head and got up, walking to her. He had grabbed two plates and put them in front of the girls, the
It was a dark area with none of the lanterns nearby.‘Why didn't they put some in here?’“Um, can I please have the key?” He put out his hand, expecting it. She smiled, “um, can you help me with something first?” Her hand moved to her mouth, licking her tongue, Cumas asked, “what is it?”“Can you rub my belly?”He looked puzzled. “Why?”She sighed,” you heard, am obese, I have been having these painfl feeling in my tummy, can you… lightly rub it.”She looked embarrassed. Cumas thought about it. ‘Something about her, she is lying, isn't she?’“I will,” he reluctantly said. He thought about getting away and was wary of her. He rubbed her tummy with the clothing on, and she was shocked and moaned.‘What the hell, that sounds far too weird.’He did it for a while then stopped, “can I please have the-”“Rub me more, please,” she looked at him, begging. He shook his head in disgust. “What, no,” she stared at him.“RUB ME MORE!”He moved back but she grabbed him. “What do I do, think?” H
[1 hour remaining] It said those words on a slight transparent screen. The lucky guy to notice this was called Cumas, he was puzzled by what he was seeing and he glossed over it. Sitting on an uncomfortable wooden and plastic chair and table combo, he started again for the millionth time as a teacher. "As he blah blah blah, he blah blahed and then he did this cool blah blah," that's what he heard from his teacher's mouth. He wondered how he felt. Cumas wasn't samet but he had one thing he was always intrigued by psychology and sociology. People thought it was a bit sadistic but he glanced over it. He just kept on hearing the teacher ponder on. [35 minutes remaining] Cumas was still puzzled why he was seeking this. In intervals of 5 it would always pop up, illuminating its presence to him, but then get overshadowed by how Cumas was unimaginative. There were 5 minutes left of the school day and he had given up listening to what the teacher said. Oh well, could go over this at home.
When Cumas entered the building, he heard a noise. The noise wasn't that great, it was shallow. But the aftermath was greater than he would imagen. The bunker was 'technically' not a bunker. 'It's not underground' He looked funny because of it, but then got startled with a huge rustling sound. BRRRRRRR!! It was the door, shaking vividly as if someone was breaking inside. Cumas jumped into the air and looked at the door, vibrating unnaturally. He could not believe the impact was going to be that great. He blinked again after it had calmed down. He gave a sigh of relief, closing his eyes, going off into his dreams. The nightmare Cumas had was crazy, however he knew it was true. He leaves behind everybody. He could have saved those people, but the guilt started to bite him. He had fallen asleep from shock and did not even notice the area. He blinked again. 'Was I that tired?' He saw the door again, in pristine condition. It had a metallic look, opposing what it looked from the
