* CHAPTER FIFTY-ONE

CASTLE OF IVÁDIA

ALTHEA’S POV

I’m in the kitchen supervising what is to be made for breakfast. It is not my duty, sister Cera is the one in charge of the kitchen. She only asked me to take it this morning as she is also going to be at the council.

“Althea! How wonderful of you to keep things in order exactly how I would!” Sister Cera says from behind me and I'm startled.

“Well done Althea,” she says to me with a grin on her face and I nod.

“Thank you sister, it was a pleasure to help you out with it. And besides, I enjoyed it!” I respond and she smiles.

I lean over the kitchen counter which is running from the left wall to the right wall. Placing my elbows in it, I sigh.

“How is she?” Sister Cera asks, and I'm confused, not knowing who she might be talking about.

I raise my elbows from the top of the counter, and I turn to her, turning my back against the counter and leaning my back against it.
