The Deceitful Woman Who Took My Money—Wow! I've Got a System!*

"Olivia! Why are you doing this to me? For the past three or four years, I've given you everything! I've saved every penny, handed all my money over to you just to show you my sincerity! Why would you leave me for this man?!"

The boy clung to the girl's hand, pointing at the fat middle-aged man standing beside her, his emotions completely out of control.

"Slap!"

Willy Morgan looked on in disbelief as Olivia ruthlessly swatted his hand away.

"Don't touch me! Willy Morgan, let me tell you something! You're nothing but an ordinary college classmate to me! All the money and time you've spent on me mean nothing. The man I love is right here, Joseph Moore! So you'd better be polite to me and keep your hands to yourself!"

Willy Morgan's eyes welled up with tears as he watched his girlfriend of three years fall into another man's arms.

"No! You're lying to me!"

"Lying to you? Who do you think you are? Do you really think you're worth lying to? Look at you—no skills, no money, already graduated, and you can't even hold down a steady job! And yet, you think you can pick up girls? Ha! You're just a useless loser, trash! Stay away from me, or my darling here won't be so kind to you!"

Olivia didn't bother to hide the disgust and contempt in her eyes.

"Darling, let's go. I don't know this guy well—he's just an old classmate! What bad luck running into him today. His stink of poverty is all over me now! You'll have to buy me a new outfit later! I've had my eye on a Fendi set that would look just perfect on me!"

"Kid! Let me tell you something! Joseph Moore's woman isn't someone just anyone can touch! You just touched my girl’s hand! Now pay me 20,000 bucks right now, or I’ll make sure you don’t see the sun tomorrow!"

Willy Morgan stared at the pair in disbelief, fury burning inside him. "You think you can stop me from seeing tomorrow's sun? What can you do? I've been an orphan since I was a kid! No one to rely on! Can you kill me? Go ahead, try!"

Willy Morgan was on the brink of madness. Joseph Moore walked up to him and slapped him twice across the face. "Kid! Every time I see you from now on, I’ll beat you up!"

Willy Morgan hung his head in silence, the pain in his heart far worse than the pain on his face.

"Pathetic loser! If it weren't for you being the most handsome guy on campus and making money for me while working part-time, do you think I’d even look at garbage like you with no background and no abilities? Ha! You'd better stay far away from me! Never come looking for me again!" Olivia whispered disdainfully in Willy Morgan’s ear.

Each word was like a knife, stabbing into Willy Morgan’s heart.

He watched as the two of them walked away, shoulder to shoulder. The pain on his face helped him regain some clarity. Three years of youth, three years of time, three years of struggle and hard work, all for Olivia’s every smile and frown. Now, it seemed he had been nothing more than a stepping stone.

Olivia had mercilessly trampled on Willy Morgan’s face, shattering all his hopes and dreams for the future.

The sky over Los Angeles was dark and threatening, the invisible pressure making pedestrians quicken their pace, fearing an unexpected downpour.

Willy Morgan walked alone down the street, listening to the roaring wind heralding the storm, and the anger and frustration in his heart burst forth.

"Cheaters! You deserve to die! You’ll never have a good ending!"

His curses caught the attention of passersby, who pointed at him and hurried past, thinking he was crazy.

Suddenly, the wind grew stronger, making it hard for Willy Morgan to keep his eyes open. The fierce gusts left him dizzy and his head slightly swollen.

"Ding! System initializing…"

"Ding! System successfully bound to host!"

Upon hearing this, Willy Morgan realized he had just won the biggest lottery in the galaxy—a system!

"Yes!" Willy Morgan jumped up in excitement.

"Ding! Detected that host’s bank account balance is only $23. Detected that host was just humiliated by a scumbag and a slut. First mission triggered! Slap the slut in the face. Please proceed immediately to the Fendi store in Los Angeles’ Universal Shopping Center and spend $300,000!"

"Ugh!" Willy Morgan nearly spat out blood upon hearing the system’s words! He didn’t even have thirty dollars right now, let alone three hundred thousand!

But Willy Morgan knew the system wouldn’t assign a task without a reason. There had to be more to this!

"Ding! $300,000 has been deposited into host’s Los Angeles bank account ending in 5186!"

See? The system was reliable! Willy Morgan could hardly wait to see the expression on Olivia’s face when she witnessed him spend $300,000 without hesitation after she had just insulted him.

Boom! Suddenly, it began pouring rain in Los Angeles!

Willy Morgan ran through the rain, just over 300 meters away from the Universal Shopping Center—a distance too short to bother with a cab.

But Willy Morgan underestimated the downpour. Within a few minutes, he was drenched from head to toe, looking rather miserable.

As he stepped into the entrance of the Universal Shopping Center, the security guard stopped him.

"What? It’s raining, so I got wet. Can't I buy some new clothes?"

"Uh… of course, sir." The security guard, thinking he was there to take shelter from the rain, was surprised that he was actually there to shop.

Entering the shopping center, Willy Morgan was awestruck by the luxurious decor. A blast of cold air from the AC reignited the flames of revenge in his chest.

Following the signs inside the mall, Willy Morgan made his way to the Fendi store.
