It's morning and the sky is glistening so brightly. Daniel and Daisy are cuddled up together as they rock bodies against each other's, enjoying the cool air brushing on their skins.

Their night was one full of blazing hot sex sessions, which left them quivering in each other's arms. Daisy's moans were so loud in the air as Daniel kept pounding in and out of her wet hole in great ecstasy that she had to use his pillow to cover her mouth so that his parents wouldn't hear it. An action of hers that left not just both of them laughing but also Theodora, who never stopped watching them.

Talking about Daniel's parents, the not-so-old couples have been hiding in their bedroom for days now. They hardly come out as they used to in the good old days because they are so afraid to die at this age and leave Daniel all to himself even though they know he is of age. They also advised Daniel not to ever go out. After all, they believe Theodora only kills those she sees outside but how surprising it would be for them when they get to find out that their only child they were trying to live for and also protect was already on his way to abandoning them as he craved to be his village hero.

Daniel's mum only came out to prepare nourishment once in a while and once she was done, she would dish it out and go back inside. Unlike the people of Hilton Bale who were just experiencing their first witchly treat from Theodora, they had already had an experience and had also seen how evil witches can be despite that it was not the witches of their village then but was only from an old movie they watched.

Weird right? Yea, that was Daniel's parents for you. They are the weirdest folks you would ever come across. They avoid even the things the actors of the black and white movies they watched avoided. And they often gave advice through movies they've watched.

Sighing so softly, Daniel blinked open his eyes and yawned loudly. He stretched his body, wiped his eyes, and gently climbed down from his bed. He was so gentle as he didn't want to wake Daisy who was still sleeping so soundly.

Whistling like an old man, he walked out of his room, heading to the kitchen to make himself a cup of coffee only to find his mum already preparing breakfast.

Without saying a word, he tiptoed to her and hugged her from behind, inhaling her sweet fragrance. His mum smiled knowing it was him from his fragrance but her face suddenly stretched into a frown and she pushed him away.

Daniel's eyes widened and his jaw dropped. It was the first time his sweet mum would push him away from her.

He couldn't help the panic that washed over him as he wondered on the things that could have lead to such push. 'Have she found out that I challenged Theodora?' As the question popped in his mind, his pulse quickened.

All this while, Daniel's mum kept calm with the thoughts that he would surely figure out why she pushed him away but when she realized that it was obvious he couldn't, she cleared her throat, gaining his attention and tousled her hair. "Sniff yourself, Daniel and tell me what you smell of."

Daniel raised his brows at her, not comprehending why she would ask him to do such a thing but since she asked, after a bit of reluctance, he did as she said and his brows rose further as he still couldn't infer why she asked.

He opened his mouth to speak but suddenly closed it back and ran out.

From behind him, Theodora cursed incoherently and scowled before vanishing into thin air with the words 'soon' playing on her lips and an evil grin plastered on her face.

Daniel's mum laughed and shook her head. "Next time remember to take your bath after sex!" She yelled after him and sniffed herself before going back to what she was doing.

Daniel couldn't help but feel so embarrassed as he ran through the path leading to his room. He was not just embarrassed because his mum just figured out he had sex but because she also just figured out Daisy slept over. Her visit was was meant to be a secret.

Daniel entered his room and glanced at Daisy who was still sleeping and exhaled feeling relieved that she didn't hear that. At least he wouldn't be facing any taunts from her. Actually, Daisy could be a pain in the ass but he seemed to stick to her as he loved her so much and also because her parents were friends with his parents.

Putting Daisy's thought aside, he patted his chest, thanking the skies that his parents haven't found out about his challenge. He knew the cool house would turn into a war front if they did. While thanking the skies, he couldn't help but pray it remained that way. He just wasn't ready for shouts.

"What are you doing there? And why is your face like that?" A voice suddenly asked, jutting him out of his world of imagination and he rubbed his eyes, staring at where the voice came from to see Daisy sitting on the bed.

"You're awake," he smiled and strolled to her. He pecked her on both cheeks and settled down beside her. "How long have you been awake?"

"Long enough to hear mum chase you out of the kitchen because you stink of my moistness," she replied blankly and scoffed at him.

His relaxed face just a second ago blew hot and his jaw slacked. "But you were sleeping when I came..." He paused as if reasoning and placed his hand on his jaw. "Yes, you were sleeping," he concluded after a while.

"Was pretending to be asleep but what were you doing at the door? I thought you would run into the bathroom the moment you got here but instead, you stopped at the door. What were you thinking about?"

Daniel scratched his hair and shrugged off. "I was just thanking the skies that..."

"That I was still asleep?" Daisy interrupted him and pouted.

"Nah, not that." He cupped her cheeks and pecked them once more.

"Then what?" She asked, tapping her feet on the floor while staring closely at him.

"I was just thanking the skies that it wasn't about my challenge with Theodora."

"You challenged the evil witch?" A deep voice asked behind them and Daniel stood up abruptly. The owner of that voice can't be misinterpreted. His heart began banging so loudly against his chest that he thought his chest was going to break apart or perhaps break down. A loud breaking of plates squeaked after the male's statement and at that moment, Daniel just felt like the ground should open and swallow him. Gosh!
