Zhou Aotian, the sect master of the Transcendence Sect, arrived at his courtyard with his newly accepted disciple, Wushu Shengli.

To call it a courtyard was an understatement. It was literally a palace. And because of the spiritual Qi gathering array that was installed in the palace, the spiritual Qi in the sect master’s palace was ten times denser than the outside world.

With Wushu Shengli’s current cultivation base that was at Qi Refining 9th Stage, he could easily break through and attain Core Formation Realm after entering the spiritual Qi gathering array.

But Shengli didn’t do that as he want his foundation to be as stable as possible, or even further beyond that. Nevertheless, his body still greedily absorbed the surrounding spiritual Qi as it entered his Qi Sea, further improving the quality of his spiritual Qi.

Of course, all of that was caught by Zhou Aotian as he noticed that his disciple was absorbing a lot of spiritual Qi yet not progressing in cultivation base. If not for the fact that Zhou Aotian noticed that his disciple was suppressing his cultivation base, he would have mistaken it as his disciple having an unusual physique that made cultivation breakthroughs a lot more difficult.

There was a legend in the cultivation world where someone was stuck at Qi Refining Realm for two thousand years.

After Zhou Aotian and Wushu Shengli arrived at the sect master’s courtyard, they went off the flying sword as Zhou Aotian returned the flying sword to his storage ring.

The sect master’s courtyard was located at a mountain peak with several smaller mountain peaks surrounding it. A large palace was erected on the tallest mountain peak while miniature palaces were also located on the smaller mountain peaks.

There were a total of 1 tall mountain peak and 6 small mountain peaks. The taller one was for the sect master’s residence while the rest of the mountain peaks was for the disciple of the sect master’s residence.

 Zhou Aotian and Wushu Shengli were currently in the sect master courtyard as they stood atop the mountain peak while Wushu Shengli was glancing at the smaller mountain peaks with interest.

“I currently have three Lead Disciples excluding you. So aside from those three mountain peaks, you can choose any of the remaining three as your palace.”

Zhou Aotian pointed at the three mountain peaks that were occupied by Shengli’s senior brothers and sister. So including Wushu Shengli, Zhou Aotian currently has four Lead Disciples.

“Thank you, master! I will diligently cultivate and repay you in the future!”

Noticing his master’s generosity, Wushu Shengli wasn’t stingy with his praises. He wasn’t that prideful when it came to thanking those who gave him benefits.

“Now that I remember, you haven’t learned any cultivation techniques aside from what those outer disciples used, right?”

“Yes, master. I only learned the basics of the sect’s main cultivation techniques.”

As a former outer disciple, it was given that Wushu Shengli didn’t have any powerful cultivation techniques in his arsenal.

After hearing his master’s words, Shengli straightened his posture and nodded at his master.

With a smile on his face, Zhou Aotian took out two books from his storage ring. One red cultivation book and one green cultivation book.

After taking out two cultivation techniques from his storage, Zhou Aotian gave them to his disciple, Wushu Shengli.

Thanking his master, Wushu Shengli unceremoniously received the two cultivation techniques from his master.

“As for the green cultivation book, it contains the Divine Melodic Sword Art. It is a sword art that emphasizes the use of countless sword moves to create a melody that will confuse your opponent to the point that they wouldn’t know you have slashed them. With your handsome temperament, this sword technique suits you the best.”

After Shengli received the two cultivation techniques, Zhou Aotian briefly explained the contents of the two cultivation techniques.
