Chapter fifteen

It’s been almost a week since daxon died and Almiron had fully recovered from the bruises and wounds.

Even though he still remembers every single event that happened that day Almiron tries he’s best to keep his mind off it.

As Calvin turned to leave, a sense of déjà vu washed over Almiron. He remembered a similar encounter with Daxon, how their initial friction had escalated into a deadly rivalry. Determined not to repeat the same mistakes, Almiron took a deep breath and made a decision.

“Hey, Calvin, wait up,” Almiron called out, his voice surprisingly calm.

Calvin paused, turning back to look at Almiron with a raised eyebrow. “What’s up?” he asked, his tone cautious.

Almiron stepped forward, extending his hand in a gesture of goodwill. “Listen, I know things got off to a rough start just now, but I don’t want any bad blood between us. Let’s start over, alright?”
