Chapter 18

Logan tossed on his robe and meandered out to the main area of the room. When he opened the door, he was greeted by an annoyed three-foot tall goblin who stood with his arms crossed.

“Are y’all done in there?” Rafe tapped his foot on the ground. “It’s the middle of the afternoon. Time’s-a-wastin!”

“What, are you bored with Bigfoot Files?” Logan rubbed his eyes groggily.

“When you’ve seen each episode five or more times, yeah, kinda.” The goblin shrugged. “But mainly, I want to check out the sweet buffet I saw downstairs!”

“No gambling for the Rafester?” Logan raised his eyebrow in disbelief.

Rafe placed his hand over his heart. “I’ve learned my lesson. Last time I went to a casino, I lost our rent for March. Word of advice – Never bet on black six and red nine, Jakey.”

“I’ve always wanted to gamble,” Abina smiled as she casually pulled the straps of her dress over her shoulders.
