As the days went by, the legion group had gotten over the tragic beast event and had now decided to go out on hunts. They did this for three reasons.To level up, for the coins, and finally for the beast cores which they carved out after the kill. They had restricted themselves to safer areas using their maps. And since they went out on their own, they kept the rewards for themselves. Although they had offered to give some share of their kills to the hunters, the hunters refused and turned them down saying it wasn't right t accept since they didn't work for it."Wow, this people are legit nice. Rodney was about to face three hungry looking beasts all on his own. And it didn't look like it would be an easy one given that two of the beasts were at mid intermediate while the bigger one was at peak intermediate tier. Even if they weren't all at peak intermediate level, leaving one ranking level to the next meant one would meet beast that would prove more difficult than the previous level. The beast turned its large back and took the attack head on. It showed how strong its scale was as the attack that would have put most beasts down hadn't done much to it thanks to the hard scale.But this wasn’t an assault battle, infact it was the opposite as Rodney had put his sword back into its sheath after that attack. “I can’t keep discharging such powerful attacks..I can feel the drawback kicking in” he said to himself. He had already closed the distance between them with his hands now coated with the same white energy from before.And just as he was about to land a fist to the back of the gecko, it swung its large tail sending him flying back.He now had multiple openings visible on his body as he had torn his shirt which was already scorched. “Fu*k this...the strain should be the last of my worries right now.That tail of it seems to be more annoying by the second damn it, it seems to be sturdier than the last two” he said.The beast didn't waste time in spitting out its venom

Back at the inn Rodney was struggling to keep it together but it didn't look like that would be easy in any way. Matter of fact he had stood up from his bed and began to stare at the other patients lying around with a crazed look which did not go unnoticed by them. His little action further proved their suspicions. He was indeed running mad. They feared for themselves the most. Being in there with a mad man who could potentially harm them as he continued staring at them one by one suspiciously didn't do anything good for their recovery they all thought. They were ready to call for help if things ever did go south. Well at least that was how much they felt threatened looking at this person now. "You are acting like a crazy person now"..."Huh did that just come from my head?. My brain is speaking to me?!". Rodney thought as he held his head with both hands. This action only further increased the patients anxiety. It was only a matter of time before someone would call for help from one

Rodney now made his way to the dojo, the special place he and Yang would train. And as he walked over to the place, he had a lot on his mind. The new information he had just gotten from Gypson who is meant to be his guide terrified him a great deal. He just couldn't wrap his head around it all. Although the concept behind how Gypson had gotten into his head and what he meant by him saying he was his guide was still yet unclear to Rodney. But he didn't get the chance to ask anything on it as the current thing that occupied his mind had overshadowed the other thoughts making them look to be only trivial."How is this possible...so I'll never able to lead a normal life after all this ends?" Rodney thought to himself as he continued on walking. Being a demon has never been among the things he has fantasized. A zombie maybe or even a vampire but never a demon.
