*Boom!

“Stab its legs! make it fall!”

“Another one is coming!”

“Group 4 intercept it immediately, don’t fight it, just keep its attention”

“Roger!”

“Group 2, how long till you take that one down?”

“About 3 minutes! Its struggling hard!”

“Keep it up, Group 3! Put more pressure on its side!”

Yetsuki as the acting leader of the group started giving string of orders, the group had already recovered from the initial shock of seeing the sheer size of the mutated rats, they had already formed their formation and took it down using their numbers.

Though, Due to the new fighting environment, they struggled a bit at first but after getting used to it, their efficiency has become faster, its been 30 minutes ever since they started their quest and they already have taken down about 6 mutated rats.

“There is 36 of us, and we need to kill 5 mutated rats per person, so we need to kill…a bunch”

Yetsuki then looked at the battle field and looked around.

“Where is Heza?”

She asked someone who is close to her.

“Haven’t seen him yet, I think haven’t entered the game”

“That guy…”

Yetsuki wanted to punch Heza right now, the guy invited them and here they are but where is he? Yetsuki swiped her hand before going to the friend list and adding Heza, she is very familiar with Heza and already knew what name he will use in the game.

[Hezalom has accepted the friendy request]

Yetsuki: Where are you?

Hezalom: Dead, I need to wait for 3 hours before I can enter again.

Yetsuki: … that’s the death punishment… its scary, thankfully, we didn’t die, anyway, how pathetic of you to die.

Hezalom: You have number, I fought one alone! Anyway, I may not be able to play right now but I can spectate you guys, I am watching the fight right now, go continue, I will join you guys after I respawn.

Yetsuki: Okay.

Yetsuki closed off the chat and continued giving commands immediately.

*Roar! *Boom!

One of the Mutated Rats seemed to have been enraged and started attacking fiercely, seeing this, Yetsuki gave the others command before joining the group that was fighting the enraged Mutated Rat.

The others immediately started attacking the mutated rat gaining its attention before Yetsuki charged forward with sword on her hand,  her blood couldn’t but boil as she charged forward, reaching under the mutated rat, she stabbed her sword forward to the heart of the Mutated rat.

*Screeech!

The mutated rat screeched loudly before falling to the ground, Yetsuki jumped back avoiding to get crushed by the body of the mutated rat, she was breathing hard but a smile could be seen on her face, there are no questions asked! This game is the best!

The level of realism already surpassed reality! This feels more realer than her life in the real world, yes, its bad explanation but that is just how she feels, then a sudden thought came into her, magic.

She wanted to feel how its like to have magic, its her childhood dream, waving her hand and spurting out fireball, chanting spells loudly like a badass wizard, she have dreamt about this many times when she was a kid but after knowing its impossible, she gave up.

But now! There is a chance, she couldn’t help but get excited.

“Everyone! Let’s speed up the pace! We will get our rewards after the mission!”

“Yeah!”

And so these brave warriors continued exterminating the Mutated rats around.

Hezalom has discovered the spectating function, it was a function he found after adding Yetsuki, and just as he expected about this game, even the spectating function is very different, instead of watching through the computer monitor.

He fell unconscious in the real world once again and turned into some kind of ghost that can float around Yetsuki, the one he chose to spectate, it was a novel experience, unfortunately, he can’t get away from Yetsuki and can only float limited around 10 meters away from her.

Well, he didn’t actually mind about, but he did have a thought of flying around in ghost mode and looked around this brand new world, well, there goes his plans, but he still had entertainment watching his friends fight this soul like rat that is too exaggerated of a level 1 monster.

Its attack can create deep craters and even shook the ground, its size is massive, tts mouth was big enough to swallow a player and its fangs were as hard as a metal, and its skin is as hard as a stone.

At first he thought that these monsters were impossible to be defeated in level one due to their power but after watching Yetsuki and the others, he found some weakness about the mutated rats.

First of all, they turn slow, yes, they can move fast but somehow when turning, they were very slow, for them to do a half turn takes about 3 seconds, enough for other players to attack its behind a few slashes before running away again.

Another one is that its they don’t seem to be that intelligent, from what he sees, these rats move on instinct, they attack the players with how can they do it, for example, going under the rat, instead of it trying to crushing the one under it, the rat will stand up and try to use its arms to attack the player, heck, even when the players climb above it, it will shake its body to shake off the player.

There are still few that he found but they are not as important as the ones he had said earlier, anyway, after finding these things out, Heza immediately messaged it to Yetsuki which greatly increased their efficiency, seeing them do the quest and level up faster, Heza couldn’t help but feel bitter.

They are about to finish their quest soon! But he is still waiting to respawn! What a shitty game and its cruel death punishment! Heza hated the devs who made this stupid rule! Heza wanted to kick him in the ass! Doesn’t he care about the retention of the players?

Well… thinking about it, there is no game comparable to this game so he didn’t have any strong complaints but he really feels bitter about the punishment.

The rat extermination quest lasted for an hour, the hunting became faster as they got used to the Mutated Rats and also with the tip from Heza that ‌helped them in the fight.

And so after the extermination, the group was battered and bruised, there are also some who has injuries like sprain or some who got scratched but not that bad, everyone is still standing, but despite their appearance, the group had a big smile on their faces.

“Finally done! Let’s go give our quest already!””

One of them said.

“Okay, it seems you guys don’t want to rest but lets go”

Yetsuki is also excited to give their quest and so, the group immediately made their way back to the Town’s Chief Machina, it was already noon when they arrived at his place and saw that he was already done with the battle suit and was doing some kind of tests.

“Town’s Chief”

Yetsuki called out in a low voice, Machina who was working turned towards them and a surprise expression appeared on his face.

“Oh you guys are done?”

“Yes, fortunately”

“That is good, I didn’t have time for the past few days to exterminate those rats, so you guys being here has been a great help”

“Town’s chief, if I may ask, how many of those rats are there?”

One of them asked.

“Frankly, its impossible to exterminate all of them as those guys breeds faster than spiders so they have been a problem”

“I see”

“Anyway, you can get your reward tomorrow morning, just meet me up here tomorrow, you guys go heal up first by entering the Capsule Ward and rest up”

“Thank you Town’s chief, but why tomorrow?”

Yetsuki couldn’t help but ask, hearing their answer Machina smiled before saying.

“Night is very dangerous. Nocturnal animals will come out from their nests, oh, I’m not talking about those pests like rats, but the ones that hunts them, with you guys right now, no proper equipment and no training, meeting one will kill you instantly”

Hearing this, everyone immediately shuddered, they were confident fighting the Mutated Rats but something stronger than it? Won’t that be a boss type already? And so everyone heeded Machina’s warning and didn’t plan on going out for the night.

“Do you guys have anymore questions?”

“Town’s chief, is it possible to change my reward?”

Yetsuki stepped forward.

“Oh? If its within the rewards level then I will try”

“Thank you, but I’m not really interested in Mecha’s so”

“Oh, that’s understandable”

Machina nodded ‌, there are only a few females who like Machines and Mecha’s, even in this world where Mecha’s are a trend.

“And so I want to ask if I could learn magic instead?”

“Oh, so magic, hmm, i didn’t put this one to plan, but sure, meet me here once again tomorrow, this also goes for all of you, those who want to learn mech’s and magic”

“Thank you!”

The girls who were not interested in Mech cheered while the others who are interested in Mech also cheered, after they were all done, they made their way towards the mothership and couldn’t help but behold how amazing it was no matter how they look at it.

They then entered inside and went to the place called the Capsule Ward, it was a room near the door, and everyone was able to see it easily because of the sign on top of it, everyone entered inside and the first thing they saw is that the room was very spacious.

Different from the respawn room, the Capsule Ward is like a recreational room with lots of a bean shaped coffin around, it looked very sci-fi.

There was an instruction on the Capsules and to enter inside, they just need to press a button, and lay down inside, once they are inside, the capsule will close once again and their injuries will heal automatically, and the person inside will enter sleep mode.

Once the person wakes up, the capsule will immediately open and the person will be able to get up like a new being.

Seeing the detailed instructions, the others immediately understood its uses and entered the capsules inside, there are about a hundred of these capsules and has plenty more of room, once they entered inside, just like it said, Yetsuki and the others immediately fell asleep.

But as Yetsuki closed her eyes, a menu appeared in front of her.

[Do you wish to log out? Or Do you wish to enter sleep?]

Seeing these two options appeared in front of her, Yetsuki logged off for now.

Her vision once again blackened and when Yetsuki opened her eyes, she saw the familiar ceiling that she sees everyday when she wakes up, Yetsuki feels a little light headed but it wasn’t that annoying, she extended her hand and grabbed her phone.

And looked at the time.

[2:39 pm]

“Huh? Only 20 minutes have passed?”

She looked at the time dumbstruck, she then pinched her cheeks, no, she isn’t hallucinating, she remembered clearly that she entered the game at 2:09 pm and spent about one and a half hour exterminating rats.

So how come?

Yetsuki sat up from her bed and immediately opened her group chat. It seemed like some others also chose to log out the game and were also surprised.
