Kevin was shocked and skeptical. For some minutes, the only thing he could do was stare at the message.

Why would Mia give him a job in the company? It was something that has never been done.

He read the mail for the third time. There was even a date for him to resume. He was supposed to resume work the next day as early as nine o'clock.

Kevin laughed at this. He picked up his phone and went through his contact list. He hesitated when he saw Mia’s number, but it only lasted for a few minutes. Kevin dialled her number.

It rang the first time, but there was no response. He redialed, but there was no response as well.

So, Kevin decided to give her space; perhaps she was in a meeting. She would definitely call back when she sees the notification.

He stepped out eventually and walked back to the dining room. The foods have been spread on the table. In fact, there were different delicacies there.
