Mia woke up that morning feeling indifferent. She slept late because she was busy thinking about Kevin.

But she knew she had to eat with the family that morning, especially since Morris already said he was going to tell the home family what Kevin had been up to.

She was already dressed before breakfast. She thought she might also drive Kevin to work. With that, she would be able to monitor Kevin's every movement.

Mia looked at Morris as everyone settled down for breakfast.

Morris also looked at her, as if silently reminding her what he had promised to do.
