Chapter 9: Sneaky Dating.

Upon seeing Benjamin walk into the hotel with his letter of introduction, the hotel manager couldn't help but cast a sidelong glance at him. Afterward, the manager flashed a smile and spoke.

"A new employee, huh? The hotel only has a little work at the moment. You can help me clean, and once there's more work, I'll hand it over to you later."

As he spoke, the manager discreetly handed Benjamin a broom. Benjamin was no stranger to such situations, as the old ones often hazed new employees.

However, Benjamin was not like the others. He didn't accept the broom offered by the manager but calmly shook his head and responded.

"Sorry, I'm here to work as a driver, not to do janitorial work for the hotel."

Hearing this, the manager's eyes widened in surprise. It was the first time he had encountered such an assertive new employee. Just as he was about to lose his temper and teach Benjamin a lesson, he was interrupted by a call from a subordinate, saying that there was an issue that required his attention.

As he left, the manager shot Benjamin a disapproving glance. Unperturbed, Benjamin sat on the sofa, leaned back, and began flipping through magazines.

After a tiring clean-up session, the manager returned to find Benjamin sitting casually on the sofa, reading a newspaper. The manager's eyes turned red with anger as he quickly glanced at the other hotel employees.

"Did you see that? This arrogant fellow has crossed the line. He refused to help us and even said that it wasn't his job and that only janitors should do it. I can bear that, but he just sat there reading the newspaper while we were working hard. Who does he think he's belittling? Does he think he's the hotel's director?"

Hearing the manager's provocation, the male hotel employees exchanged glances.

"Manager, how should we deal with him now? I wasn't as arrogant as he when I started working here."

"Pfft, you? Arrogant? Weren't you obediently following Caradoc around?"

Listening to his subordinates discuss the situation, the manager's face turned stern.

"What else can we do? Call him to the back, and we'll have a polite conversation with him."

As if receiving a signal from the manager, the male employees exchanged glances before their faces broke into satisfied smiles.

Upon hearing the manager's request for him to go to the back for a talk, Benjamin had some suspicions. However, he was not worried in the slightest. He was somewhat intrigued, wondering what they planned to do with him.

"You were quite cocky just now, weren't you? Today, I want to see how long you can keep that attitude!"

Seeing Benjamin follow the hotel staff to the designated empty spot, the manager's face instantly displayed an incredibly smug smile while curses flowed continuously from his mouth.

However, Benjamin's demeanor remained incredibly calm. He cast an indifferent glance at the surrounding people.

"Is this all the people you have?"

Upon hearing his words, the manager's face stiffened instantly. But shortly after, Benjamin's remark also infuriated the hotel staff. One person couldn't hold back and shouted.

"New guy, you shouldn't be so arrogant."

Then, the person charged forward. Simultaneously, the remaining people also swarmed in. But to everyone's surprise, Benjamin stood still without flinching.

"Do you dare to underestimate me?"

Seeing Benjamin not avoiding or dodging, standing still to receive the man's punch, the hotel staff became even more furious. However, when his fist landed on Benjamin's abdomen, Benjamin's body had already moved. Simultaneously, his face revealed a touch of disappointment.

"Is this all the strength you have?"

"You..."

Before the hotel staff member could finish speaking, Benjamin twisted his wrist backward. Then, a grinding sound rang out, causing the man to let out a piercing scream of pain.

"Ah... it hurts so much, let go quickly..."

After that, Benjamin tossed the man aside. Then, the remaining three or four people were also subdued by Benjamin's technique, completely unable to resist.

Ultimately, when the manager saw Benjamin's footsteps approaching him, his face turned pale. He appeared terrified, his legs trembling as he stuttered.

"You... what do you want? This is a hotel... if... if... cough... ah..."

Before the manager could finish speaking, Benjamin tightly grasped his throat. Then, Benjamin's eyes turned cold as he stared at him.

"You should feel lucky that this is my wife's hotel. Otherwise, your fate wouldn't be just this simple."

Tossing the manager aside, Benjamin's gaze briefly swept over the surroundings. At that moment, those stared at by Benjamin's eyes were instantly terrified and hurriedly lowered their heads to avoid him.

Benjamin didn't bother to pay attention to the attitudes of these people. He let out a cold snort, then casually returned to his original seat.

Watching Benjamin's departing figure, although the manager felt extremely annoyed, he didn't dare to cause any more trouble for Benjamin. However, from then on, Benjamin was officially isolated by everyone else in the hotel. Of course, this did not affect Benjamin. After all, he didn't want to interact or talk with them too much.

At ten o'clock that night, Benjamin received a phone call. He had to pick up a young female guest in a drunken state. Benjamin didn't find this inconvenient at all. He quickly went to the parking lot and drove the young woman home.

But they had only traveled halfway when the young woman suddenly woke up. Immediately afterward, she looked at him with a dazed gaze. Then, she slammed her hand against the seat and softly demanded.

"Stop... stop the car..."

Hearing her request, Benjamin had no choice but to oblige and pulled over to the side of the road.

"I... I don't want to go home. Can... can you take me to a hotel?"

At this, Benjamin's eyebrows slightly furrowed. But he didn't consider it further and drove the young woman to a nearby hotel.

Just as their car approached a cafe near the hotel, the young woman's urgent voice and the sound of her pounding on the car door filled the air.

"Stop, stop! I want to get out. Stop the car quickly!"

Suddenly seeing his female passenger become agitated, Benjamin quickly hit the brakes. Then, through the rearview mirror, he saw Isabella chatting with an utterly unfamiliar man. Moreover, she was wearing particularly stunning makeup today. For a moment, Benjamin's eyebrows raised in surprise.

Meanwhile, the young woman had dashed out of the car, intending to enter the cafe before her. However, Isabella's sister Kinsley suddenly appeared and blocked her way.

Witnessing this scene and noticing the intimate posture of Isabella and the strange man conversing in the cafe, Benjamin couldn't help but recall the conversation between the two sisters the previous night.

Finally, at this moment, Benjamin understood. The female passenger in his car had come to find the unfamiliar man, while Kinsley had been waiting outside beforehand to ensure that Isabella and the man could have a smooth date, preventing interference.

Having pieced together everything in his mind, Benjamin could no longer sit idly in the car, watching the Taylor sisters' schemes and secrets dating behind his back with another man. Could she be so desperate for him that she couldn't wait until their divorce?

"What do you want to do? Who gave you the right to interfere in my sister's business?"

Suddenly pushed outside by Benjamin, Kinsley angrily yelled. However, at this point, Benjamin had already drag the young woman's hand and approached Isabella and the man.

Seeing Benjamin suddenly appear before her, Isabella's face didn't reveal any expression. Only the young woman seemed highly agitated, looking at the man sitting opposite Isabella and crying.

"Winston! Why, why do you want to break up with me? Is it because of her? Is it because of her that you refuse to live with me? Why? Why do you treat me like this? Do you know how much I love you?"

Seeing her agitated state, the smile on Isabella's face had long disappeared. In its place was an extremely uncomfortable expression. Yet, she didn't show any attitude, silently watching everything unfold.

At this moment, the man named Winston also stood up abruptly, displaying an extremely annoyed attitude as he pushed away the young woman's hands. He then coldly warned her.

"We have no relationship whatsoever. You better never come looking for me again."

He cast a remorseful glance at Isabella.

"Isabella, I'm sorry that you were bothered."

"It's fine. After all, it's been a long time since we last met. Today, let's part ways here for now. I'll arrange to meet with you when we have time."

After saying this, Isabella also left. From beginning to end, she never once looked at Benjamin.

Benjamin felt extremely angry because Isabella had not paid attention to him from start to finish. He chased after her and got into the car, glaring at her with great dissatisfaction.

"What do you mean by doing this? We haven't officially divorced yet, but you dare secretly date another man behind my back. Pretending to be innocent in front of me every day, are you just eager to sleep with him? You are so deceitful!"
