Chapter 12: Successful Raid

In Lord Rumples room,

"So, you are saying that there is a intruder in this house as we speak?" The Lord asked.

"It's not confirmed but it is almost definitely." The leader of the guards said before smoke started coming out of the door.

One of the guards that was in the room then opened the door only to see that outside of the room was filled with smoke so thick that it was impossible to look through.

"It's fire! Everyone go and stop the fire from spreading! I will stay here with the Lord!" The leader of the guards shouted.

"Lord! We have to get you to the secret room! It seems that the intruder has a very sophisticated plan!" The guard said before going to the bookshelf and pulling the book and opening it the bookshelf like a door.

The Lord then ran inside before closing it, leaving the guard leader to protect him from the outside.

The leader of the rebel guards then pulled out his sword and was in a battle ready position and pointed his sword at the door.

He could hear that the sound of his men talking outside of the room was getting a lot more quieter. "Weird." He said while trying to hear any sound from the door.

"Nothing?" He asked himself before walking closer to the door.

But suddenly he could hear the window breaking behind him and someone coming behind him.

But before he could even do anything, he could feel that his chin was punched and his neck was getting choked.

"Kugh...." The guard struggled as he tried to stand up again only to have Arthur choke him down.

Arthur then bashed the guards head upon the floor causing the guard to faint.

Arthur then saw put his X-ra goggles back on and saw that Lord Rumples was still behind the bookshelf.

Arthur then walked towards the bookshelf and he turned his whole body using the whole weight of his body and delivered it all in one punch, breaking the bookshelf.

Arthur then saw that behind the bookshelf was a door made out of iron and as Arthur punched it, it bent slightly.

And even though it felt like punching through aluminum can, he still couldn't punch through it using his brute strength considering that his stat power has been limited.

And so he pulled out one of the sticky grenades that he found on the system shop and stick it on the iron enforced door.

He then clicked on a button that was on the grenade and ran away from it before the grenade exploded the door.

Arthur could see that the door now had holes and as he opened the now broken down iron door, he saw that Lord Rumples that was here looked scared, really scared

So much so he actually peed and was crawling away from Arthur.

"Where the hell do you think you're going?" Arthur asked while walking towards the humiliated Lord.

"Get away from me!" He shouted before he took out a dagger from his wet pants and pointed it at Arthur.

Arthur shook his head and used a high kick to kick the dagger off the Lord's hand and choked Lord Rumples neck and lifted him up.

"I will be taking away your Lordship. In fact, this country won't have any royalties, only royalties in name only, no benefits. So enjoy your meaningless title,Lord Rumples." Arthur said while throwing away the Lord out of the secret room.

"Please! Why are you doing this to me!?" He shouted.

Arthur then took off his mask and it revealed his real identity.

As the Lord saw Arthur's face his face turned red with veins popping on his head. "You fool! How dare you do this to me! I promise you, that the King will return, and he will take your place, and by the end of the day, your head will be hanging, from my window." He shouted.

Arthur rolled his eyes as he heard the delusional Lord talking and slapped his face. "Hey, I don't think you are in any position to raise your voice. Look, I will be taking away your power." He said before carrying the Lord to the roof and showing what was happening outside of the mansion.

The newly formed national guards was entering the gate and was arresting all of the rebels and bringing them into the cart. "All of your planning. Only for me to mess everything up. I'm sure that this is all the men that you have under you, right?" Arthur asked as he looked at the Lord more closely.

"You can't do this to me! Only a few days ago everything was perfect, why would you change everything now?" The Lord said while seeing

"Maybe it was for you, and the other royalties. But what about the others? The citizen that all of you have been taxing so much? What about them? The royals have not even bat an eye about the citizens of the country. And you don't even let them speak. I come into this country, not to make everyone equal, but to give everyone an equal opportunity to rise to the top." Arthur said while grappled himself and the Lord down to the national guards who was clearing up the place.

As the national guard captain saw Arthur, he saluted while seeing Lord Rumples being carried by Arthur.

"Just caught this pig. Arrest him and put him to gather with his men. Also, raid this mansion, and sell everything that we can." Arthur said while throwing Lord Rumples to the captain.

Lord Rumples then looked at his mansion. "No you can't take it away from me, it is all I have!" He shouted.

Arthur then thought about it and realized that he almost started thinking like a dictator. "You know what captain, punish him according to the law that I gave to the scholars, and leave the mansion alone unless there is anything to do with an investigation inside of the mansion." Arthur said as he could see the panicked expression of Lord Rumples turned calm.
