Back on Mission

"Chloe," Clarita called with her gaze straight at the television.

Chloe looked confused. She stopped herself from putting the fruit in her mouth and said, "What?"

"Did you know about the proposal from Mr. Dashiel's son?" asked Clarita, who still didn't turn around.

Chloe was silent for an instant. Her mind returned to Mr. Dashiel's long explanation of why he had committed the crime of destroying the Zay Group. Thinking about it gave her goosebumps. The older man seemed to be crazy. She never thought such a problem could trigger something that caused dozens of people to suffer great losses. This was more of a disaster.

Having received no answer from Chloe, Clarita turned her head. However, she immediately frowned when she saw her sister shuddering with her pale face. "Hey! Chloe!"

The shout managed to distract Austin and Caitlin. Both of them looked at Chloe in confusion.

"What's wrong with Chloe?" asked Caitlin.

Austin shook her head and pulled Caitlin's head back to watch television.
