Afterward, Alexander, Mr. Terrence, and Mrs. Terrence sat in the living room and talked business while Winifred was told to go to her room. The girl pretended to do that, but she sat by the stairs and listened to the entire meeting. Her reason for doing that was because she wanted to know when the meeting would be over. She knew that Alexander would leave immediately after the meeting was done and she wanted to see him before he did. After eating so much food and satisfying his hunger, Alexander slept like a log and because he had nothing to do the following day, the System didn’t bother to wake him up.
