RIDDLE

“Outsmart the dealer, huh?” Alexander placed his hand on his chin, sneaking stares at the dealer beside him as he contemplated the mission he had just received from the system.

How was he going to outsmart the dealer? He wondered.

He watched Stanley, Conroy, Patrick, and Tim arrange their betting chips, preparing for the new game of poker they were about to play.

‘While I think about that, I had better use this time to…’ Alexander thought then, in order to act like he knew how to play the game, he tried copying what they did.

He reached into his duffle bag and, with both hands bowled together, brought out as many betting chips as they could contain.

He dropped everything on the table in front of him.

Normally, the number of chips he brought out wouldn’t have been enough when compared to the number of betting chips each of the aged men had in front of them.
