Chapter 19

The sun rays reflecting from outside the window made Dante shut his eyes again the moment he opened it, notwithstanding he opened it again.

The softness of the mattress, the expensive blue silk curtains, the scent and humidity of the room blended well together that he figured it was probably a dream. With his elbow on the bed, he pushed himself up on the bed, to see himself in an unknown room realizing it wasn’t a dream.

“What happening?” he asked loudly to himself

He closed his eyes and remembered the man on suit calling him the heir to some sort of consortium and showing him the exact tattoo on his chest as a symbol. Immediately a memory came back to Dante…

“I pledge my loyalty to the king, queen, bishop, knight and devotion to the pawns” little Dante muttered in front of a man that was holding a tattoo machine, it happened to be the happiest day of little Dante’s life.
