2025-01-11 05:38:45Ezra and his love interest Mira had found a carriage and they entered the carriage that was manned by a Coachman, it was taking them towards a certain nation and this was going to be a very long journey.
Ezra had access to some wealth that his father had left for him enabling him to pay the Coachman.
He'd located two bags filled with gold coins and some priceless cups that could be sold for so much money.
He paid for the journey that would last three days maximum as they had a lot to explore in the new nation they were heading to.
Mira and Ezra were busy eating some grapes in the carriage as they relaxed as the carriage moved, they were now on the second day of their journey.
"So how did you pull off those moves in the fight against the deceased Lorrin?" Mira inquired out of curiosity.
"Honestly I pulled them off because I can and I do know how to use a katana," Ezra responded lackadaisically.
"That's amazing Ezra. Honestly, I feel like you're not telling me the truth of the matter though." Mira replied Ezra.
"Well, I have a gift called the Echelon System," Ezra responded to her as took in another grape.
"What's that?" Mira asked.
"It's a gift that literally empowers you to train better as a warrior and you'll become much much stronger than you already are. In a nutshell, it's quite a gift that's rare to have in this era." Ezra eloquently responded to Mira's questions.
Mira couldn't fathom all he was saying but she realized that it seemed Ezra had connected to an innate ability that existed within him.
"From my own understanding, it seems the torture you went through actually enabled you to connect to an innate gift, one that would eventually enable you to become much better than you already are," Mira said voicing out her honest thoughts.
It wasn't uncommon for martial artists to unlock certain gifts which can possibly enable one to surpass their peers in all aspects.
"You know what?" He asked Mira.
"What?" She responded with a question.
"I will teach you the ways of the Echelon System and I'll make sure that you become as strong as I possibly can." The young martial artists promised her.
"Thank you, Ezra." She responded with a smile on her face.
'I can't believe I'll learn yet a new skill as I'll add to my knowledge and become much better as a martial artist. Yes, this is my moment.' She thought with glee as she chewed on another grape.
"What nation are we heading to by the way?" Mira inquired.
"We're heading to the Nation of Hanjaq, it's the nearest nation to the Nation of Echelon of which our sect headed its administration," Ezra responded to Mira's question calmly.
"We shall begin our training there in earnest and I'll make sure that you become stronger and much more than you already are Mira," Ezra added, chewing the last grape.
"Alright then, I anticipate the training..." Mira replied as she started to fan herself.
"It won't be simple my dear, I'll make sure that every bone in your body will be broken," Ezra responded, wearing an evil grin.
"What?" She asked, looking somewhat surprised.
"Just kidding... I promise you you'll master it and it'll be like a walk in the garden." Ezra replied and started to drink some water.
The carriage moved for several hours until it came to a startling stop.
"Oh no, the Raiders are here!" Cried the Coachman.
Ezra who was resting inside suddenly jerked up after hearing what the Coachman had said.
'I have to stop them!' Ezra thought and without waiting anymore he dashed out.
Ezra arrived watching the raiders all were twelve in number and so well armed with swords and daggers.
"The good thing about this situation is that I am armed with a katana and I'm not afraid to use it quite dangerously," Ezra uttered as he stared at the raiders.
"Get out of the way!" The raider's leader hollered with anger in his voice.
The Leader of the raiders looked so tall and muscular along with a very sharp spear in his hand and he looked furious.
"Engage Tier 1," Ezra uttered.
Immediately a blue holographic screen appeared before his own vision further showing him the process.

"Engage Silent Whisper!" Ezra uttered in a low tone.
Ezra's eyes turned green as the raiders who'd started marching furiously towards him only found out that they couldn't even move an inch towards him.
It didn't take long before they took their own weapons and brutally murdered each other and in not more than twenty minutes, there was now a pile of dead men.
Ezra had successfully manipulated them into thinking of eliminating each other and it worked too well.
Ezra's eyes which had a strong green hue suddenly died down revealing his normal pupils.
Ezra returned back to the carriage and patted the Coachman who was now struck by fear.
"No need to worry you're carrying a living warrior along, we have a nation to get to," Ezra said in an attempt to calm him down.
"Thank... You ...you ..you sir. Sir!" The Coachman struggled to say.
Ezra nodded affirmatively and walked back into the carriage with ease as he thought about the next move he'd make.
The carriage moved after Ezra had boarded and to his surprise Mira his newfound love was actually asleep.
'You mean in the midst of the violence outside she's sleeping?' Ezra thought.
It was already a hot afternoon and he found it odd that she was still sleeping at this particular time of the day.
Normally Mira was usually fanning herself or trying to engage him in a form of discussion.
"Does it really matter though?" Ezra said, shaking his head.
It didn't take long before the holographic interface appeared once more.
