Chapter fifteen

FREDERICK'S POV

I gritted my teeth in anger with my nails digging into my palm. I looked at the faces of each of the students, and for a moment I wished I could wipe it off their faces.

"Did you call her parents?" I slowly said, looking at his face. It was evident that Damain was finding the torture more interesting.

"And what if I did? You nearly had the poor girl killed, and you destroyed any future she had left. She wanted to be a model. Do you honestly think she can be a model from the wheelchair she is seated on?" Damian asked, laughing out loud.

My face showed I was angry by his words, and I was pissed off as I looked at the smug grin on his face.

"Did you do it? I know it was you that went to the gym not too far from the school. I see that you are really trying to protect your little secret. I wonder what would happen when the whole school gets to know that you are nothing but a killer!"

"I would watch my tongue, Freddie. You don't want them to design your beautiful face once again." Damain warned.

"You are a coward! Always hiding behind Ethan and Aiden. Do you think you can take me head-on?" I shouted.

For a moment, the student stopped laughing. Their expression was serious, and many of them wanted to see if Damain could take me on. I saw the looks on their faces, and immediately I added petrol to the fire on the ground.

"All you do is talk. I know all you do is hide all your life. Why don't you come closer and let's see what you are made of?" I said with a smirk.

"I see what you are doing. Do you think you can win?" Damian said, taking off his school jacket. I looked at his side and saw Mandy, who was enjoying every bit of herself. "He doesn't love you, Mandy. All he ever cares about is himself, and you are a fool if you don't see that!"

Mandy twisted on her seat, looking at Damain.

I could see my words were getting to her. I let out a knowing smile and looked at Garry, who had said nothing ever since he got before Dmain.

"I can see you have gotten a big mouth ever since you have a new friend. What is the name again, and what level are you?" Damina asked, walking towards us.

He folded his shirt as he walked. "I am going to enjoy killing you, Freddie. Since you want this so bad, then I am going to dish it out to you."

I wasn't a fighter, but I knew how to get under Damian's skin. All I need to do is tire him out, and then I would have my revenge. Garry said nothing but simply walked away from my side when the fight was about to start.

"Don't say I didn't warn you." Damain laughed.

All the students brought out their phones to capture the moment while Mandy relaxed to have a view of who the winner would be.

At first, I started off by dodging each blow and kick thrown at me by Damian.

"Fight me, you cowards. Is that all you are good at? Running?" Damin taunted, but I was not ready to attack yet. I need to get him weaker; I need to make him tire out.

. Then, after a few minutes, I noticed his movements were quite slow.

It was the perfect time to attack.

I moved closer to him, and before he could dodge, I sent a blow to his face, knocking him back on his ass. The students all let out a laugh as Damian landed with a great thud.

Damian felt the impact and touched his nose. The blood trickling down his nose made me laugh. "Do you still think you can take me on? I bet my grandma can defeat someone like you." I jested, making Damian even more angry.

He got up with fury and rushed at me. But I had anticipated him before he came at me, and I did well to dodge once more. Damian charged forward like an enraged bull while I landed a kick to his back again.

He fell harder this time, and the whole school burst into laughter.

"I guess, Freddie was a fighter after all."

"Do you honestly think Damian can kick his ass?"

"What a joke!"

"He has been hiding under the fact that he has people who can protect him."

Damian could hear everything they were saying about him. I could see the look on Mandy's face. She felt ashamed and restless.

For a moment, I enjoyed the humiliation I was able to inflict on Damian, but everything changed when he shouted at Ethan and Aiden to come at me.

The students all became silent.

They all knew the twin didn't listen to begs or the plea for mercy. I knew all I had to do was run. But it was too late.

Ethan gripped me by the neck and tossed me towards the wall. I landed with a great thud, and I felt the air escape from my lungs.

"How does it feel, huh? Showing you could swing your little muscle a bit. Break his bones!" Damian shouted at Aiden.

"I am going to double your salary if you make him crippled like his girlfriend."

The words were hurting, and the fact that I haven't done anything about it was infuriating. I clean the blood off my lips. "Don't you dare mention her name again, you cowards!"

"Or what? What are you going to do, Fred?" Damian asked with his teeth stained from blood. "I am going to make you pay because I know you did it!"

"Why don't we finish this, Aiden?" Damian said, looking at his lackey. But as Aiden swung his hand at me, I shut my eyes, trying to brace myself for the impact, but then I heard a hushed whisper from the students.

I heard a loud thud on the floor. I opened my eyes, and my face went pale as I took a look at Aiden knocked out cold.
