Just A Loser.

Harrison stared at the money on the bed. He could not help but want to laugh. Did she really think she could seal his mouth up with money?

He wondered if all rich people were like this. He turned to her, his facial expression could not be explained. She looked at him, and gave an expression that said "what is it?"

"Nah, it's nothing."

She rolled her eyes, and stood up, dragging the duvet. He was seated on the duvet. She stared at him, giving him the expression that he should get off the duvet.

"Get off the duvet or you turn your face to the other side. I need to dress up," she mouthed, clutching the duvet over her chest.

Harrison could imagine what a pain in the ass she was. He turned over to the other side, facing the window.

She made sure that he was not looking at her. She left the duvet to fall on the floor, as she began to dress up.

"I'm done." She said, and Harrison turned over.

She picked up her bag, and after giving one last look at him, she left, slamming the door behind her.

Harrison sighed, and laid down back. His mind wandered around what happened last night, but everything seemed blurry, and he could barely get a grip of anything, other than that he was drunk.

Soon, he, too, got out of the bed to dress up. His last night's clothes reeked of alcohol and sweat. He could not afford to wear it outside.

He hoped that there would be extra clothes in the wardrobe, and to his luck, there were gray pants and a white T-shirt.

After putting it on, he left the room. Maybe, luck was not completely on his side, because as soon as he stepped out of the room, his ex-girlfriend was just coming out of the elevator with her new boyfriend.

Just seeing her alone was enough to change his mood. He would never forget what she did to him. It was morning, of course, and all these happened yesterday.

How could he forget? How could he forget that the woman he loved so much had dumped him for someone better than him? Someone richer.

He was sad and angry. Sad, because it was not easy to move on with his life, and angry that she had just been replaced within a blink of an eye.

He wanted to avoid them, and leave the premises, but it seemed like he would have to converse a little bit, for she had seen him already.

At first, she was surprised to see him. What would he be doing in a hotel? She thought it was one of his multiple jobs, but she recalled that delivery guys around the state had a similar uniform, and what he was putting on was not a uniform at all.

Soon, they were just a few steps away from Harrison. Rowena walked forward, and looked at Harrison with a disdainful expression.

"How shameless can you be, Harrison?" She began, blocking his way.

"What do you mean?" He was forced to ask. He was not ready to strike up any conversation with her, but she was in his way.

"I thought you should have known by now, the huge gap between you and the rich, now. Considering everything that happened, you still haven't learned," she further said, crossing her arms slowly over her chest.

"I don't have time for this, get out of my way." Harrison responded with no trace of smile on his face.

"Hmph! Trying to act tough now? C'mon, Harrison. We both know that you are still madly in love with me, that is why you followed me here to this hotel. I'm sure you must have slept outside all night, how pitiful! You could have called me, at least, I would have been kind enough to ask my man to give you a room to lay your head," she sneered, giving a mocking expression.

Harrison wondered how he even fell in love with someone like her. She was not worth his time or attention.

"Harrison, don't forget you are just a poor man trying to survive. Don't bite more than you can chew, or else you might choke."

At this point, the rich man stepped in. He had stood aside watching the two of them. To him, they seemed to have known each other from somewhere, and they might have had an ugly experience to have such a conversation.

"Honey, what is wrong?" He asked her, drawing her waist closer to his body.

"Oh, nothing much, sweetie. It's just this dirty rag," she said, rolling her eyes, as she leaned in to plant a kiss on the man's lips.

"So, who is he? I've never seen him, and you have never talked about him before," he replied, staring strangely at Harrison.

"He is just one crazy guy I met. I helped him out of pity, so he thought that we were in a relationship. It makes me wonder if people can't render help without them thinking you love them," she mouthed.

"That is not true, Rowena. I am your ex boyfriend," Harrison finally said something.

She let out a scornful laughter, "my what? You think so highly of yourself, don't you? I would advise you to stop dreaming, wake up from the slumber, and get your ass to work!" She thundered, snapping her fingers at his face.

"I can't even believe you. You are now denying me? In front of him. Why? You don't want him to know that I am that boyfriend of yours who worked his ass day and night to make you happy. That boyfriend of yours you cheated on!" Harrison voiced out, angrily.

Just seeing her and hearing the things she said made him pissed off. The man silenced Harrison. He would not take it from anybody who tried to lie against his girlfriend.

"Stop right there, loser. I get that maybe you tried to woo her, and since you are not your type, you go out of your way to make sure her name is tainted. I bet you imagine yourself beside her, even in bed. Sadly, you can't relate to how she is in bed," he sneered, a mischievous smile curving his lips, as he said the last part.

"C'mon, baby. Stop that, you are such a naughty boy," she blushed, slapping his chest lightly, as she leaned on him to hide her embarrassed face.

Harrison was furious, he did not think twice to punch the man in the face, startling the two of them.

Some of the man's bodyguards, who saw this, quickly ran to them. They held onto Harrison, and waited for their boss' order.

The man wiped the blood that trickled down his nose, and stared at Harris in anger.

"You are doomed!"
