Son Of The Greatest Man.

The old man could not contain his joy. He could not keep it in. He looked at Harrison again, and hugged him.

There was no difference between him and his childhood self, only that he was now a grown up man.

"Young master, it is really you!" The butler said, touching his face to make sure that it was really him.

"Wh... Who are you?" Harrison asked. He was too surprised to even move a muscle, as the old man kept hugging him tightly.

"Uh, I'm sorry," he apologized, "my name is Theodore, the butler of the Gerald's family."

Harrison could not believe it. It felt like a dream. He wanted to be so sure that he had parents, so he asked the butler.

"If I am the one you have been looking for, where are my parents?"

"Your parents are abroad for a meeting. They will be there for a few days. I have been instructed to bring you back home," the butler replied, excitement written all over his face.

"Are you really sure that I am the one you are looking for? The son of Mr. Fitzgerald?" He questioned. "Are you trying to say that I am not an orphan and I have parents?"

It was impossible for him to believe. He lived his whole life thinking that his family had died to most probably, abandoned him. It was not easy to accept that he had a family, who were rich.

"Yes, I am not mistaken. I was there when your mother gave birth to you. You still have the mark from birth; the mole on your neck. You are the true son of Mr. Fitzgerald, the richest and most powerful family in America," the butler confirmed, "see, your name was already written on the ring, which is the Gerald's family heirloom. You are the one and only heir."

Harrison, upon hearing the butler's confirmation, was tearing up. He never imagined in his whole life that he would be the son of the rich man; not just any rich man, the richest man in America, who could make anybody bow at his command.

While Harrison was trying to comprehend everything that happened, the butler moved closer to him, taking a close look at his face.

His countenance suddenly changed. His voice deepened, as he thundered in anger.

"Who dare hit the son of the greatest man in America?"

The bodyguards were used to seeing his calm side, even the manager, too. They had never seen him angry before, so when he yelled, they trembled in fear.

They bowed their heads in fear, unable to look at the butler's face.

"Answer me, who did this to you?" He asked again, this time around, his voice was a little bit calm.

The manager was terrified. He trembled, and fell on his knees. He was afraid of the butler's wrath.

In fear, he disclosed, "I'm sorry, sir. I was not here in time to stop him from beating young master up. It was Bryce Ramon, the son of Mr. Ramon."

"How dare he?" The butler muttered, fuming in anger.

"I deeply apologize on his behalf, sir. He had no idea about his true identity. Please, pardon him."

The manager had to beg on his behalf. He knew how dangerous the wrath of any household of the Gerald's can be. He could not imagine what they would do to Bryce.

"Pardon him?" The butler seemed surprised by that statement made by the manager. "There is no such thing as pardon when it comes to any form of disrespect of any member of the Fitzgerald family."

"I'm sorry, sir." The manager bowed in remorse. "I'm sorry for failing at protecting the young master."

The butler's rage had still not simmered down and Harrison was at a loss on what to say, it was a new feeling to be treated very importantly.

Harrison did little to hide the shock that followed his new sense of relevance. "The Ramon family is the Tier-1 family in the city, how do you intend to teach them a lesson?"

"Do not say that, young sir." The butler sneered, "The Ramon family is simply like an ant compared to the Fitzgerald family. We could squash them under our feet if we willed it."

Harrison was shocked but majorly impressed. He nodded, impressed still.

"The Fitzgerald family was the most powerful in the whole of America, we could put the Ramon family to shame if they begin to overstep."

"I'm surprised."

The butler chuckled, "You shouldn't be, you're the heir of the family now."

He continued, "Young master, we have to get you to the hospital. We need to make sure you are not harmed critically."

Harrison nodded in understanding, "Yes, yes. I suppose that is what needs to be done, no doubt but I do not have any money. I cannot afford hospital bills."

The Butler was taken aback, he looked around the room making eye contacts with the manager and few others in the room. They all exchanged quizzical looks.

"Young sir, I don't think you understand you identity; you do not seem to understand the power and affluence you wield." The butler spoke.

"I just got to know about all these now," Harrison tried to dispute. "I do not know if I am officially allowed into the family and similar matters."

The butler smiled, "You, young sir, are the heir to the Fitzgerald fortune. You're Mr Fitzgerald's son, I was there when you were born. You may not have money but your family has and does so in abundance too and speaking on acceptance, you've already been accepted. That is not even up for debate."

Harrison nodded in agreement. He was a Fitzgerald now and that was it.

The butler ordered someone in the room to ready the helicopter and they scurried off to do his bidding.

"This way." The butler led him outside.

A few minutes later, they were in the sky heading for the hospital.
