Chapter 3: A Wise Investment?

As Jin waited at his office, he thought about something.

He remembered a lot of people that he had survived with throughout his journey.

As he started recollecting those names and writing them one by one, he couldn't help but be ecstatic.

He'll create a false invitation to gather all of his friends, those that he had trusted his life and back with.

Especially those women that he had loved.

When he's at his 30th name, he received a call.

"Sir, President Tyrone and his group had arrived." His secretary had reported.

Jin nodded his head: "Bring them to the conference room."

"Yes." She immediately hung up her phone and proceeded as ordered.

As Jin stood up, he thought of something.

If he were to be surviving with his massive project, he'd need manpower, and... Where would he be able to find such manpower?

He has tons of people under him! More than five thousand people!

Not to mention, most of them have families and friends!

He started walking to his conference room while pondering about what he could do to convince them without alerting the public.

Why would he even be this cautious?

Imagine, having only a month's time to prepare, the thought that this frozen world will last for more than a thousand years.

Probably only a few people like him could create an environment for people to survive.

And that is, in the term where they would use every single money they have to do so.

But... will they even believe him?

They would just consider him a lunatic and probably think that it's just a conspiracy.

By the time that they figure it out, it would probably be in six months after.

Jin thought about something as well, why not bring over all of the famous kind people in the country? 

That way, at the very least, he could be assured about the future's upbringing.

As he kept pondering about it, he then reached the conference room.

There, his secretaries were already waiting for him, all four of them.

For some reason, he couldn't help but chuckle to himself.

Clearly, these four secretaries were completely top model class, with nothing to pick about, from their body, their looks, and their brains.

Each and every one of them graduated with top grades.

Jin chuckled and nodded to himself, he approved of his life decisions quite a lot.

Then, the secretaries opened the door and let Jin enter while also following behind him.

His mind might be on the rougher side now, but it also caused him to broaden his horizons by quite a lot.

He looked at Tyrone and more than a dozen of his legal teams and smiled at them.

Looking at this group of people like a money-making machine that will help aid him in his survival.

With his best effort, Jin smiled and approached Tyrone with the intention of hugging him: "President Tyrone, how are you? I hope your business is booming quite a lot now?"

Tyrone smiled gently back at him and proceeded with the hug: "It is quite steady, but I do hope that it will have the same progress as your great company."

"Your company is just rising, soaring through the roof now."

"With that, I'm quite confused with why you're even selling it."

Jin smiled, he knew all too well that all of those were just mere pleasantries and Tyrone was quite excited to buy this massive company of his.

Based on his previous experience, Tyrone is nothing but a selfish prick who will backstab anyone for his own profit.

Jin felt quite angry at himself for treating this person as his own brother.

Just remembering how he sought asylum from this trash of a pig before and was rejected ferociously.

It was also Tyrone, his wife, and his son who had initiated firing at them, many of them were injured because of that.

Still, even though Jin wanted to take revenge against this pig, he knew too well that depleting his wealth was also a form of revenge.

He will definitely not even last more than a year.

Jin smiled at him"Well, I already told you my plan, right?"

Tyrone nodded and sighed: "Yes, I know, I know, but still, it's such a waste."

"I checked everything about your company's progress and it shows that not only will it flourish for the next 50 years, it's a business prospect that will be hard to contend against."

"In just a few more years, you will be standing side by side with billionaires." Tyrone is definitely doing his own research, it's just a normal type of thing, after all, buying companies worth hundreds of millions, to the point of billions is quite a risky thing, well, unless you know how the infrastructure works.

Jin smiled at Tyrone, trying to hide his laughter: "It's something I'm willing to risk."

Tyrone hearing this was quite shocked: "You mean..."

Jin nodded his head: "Yeah, I've done a lot of research and, if I can't start this within a month and finish it this year, it will be too late."

He didn't say anything wrong though.

It would be too late if he was to not build his shelter by this month.

Why?

Because who would even work under really cold temperatures?

Tyrone hearing this contemplated immediately.

Currently, he has one billion funds that he can use freely.

Seeing him think about it, Jin knew that he already won this thing.

"Well, how about we settle on buying my company first?" Jin remarked.

Tyrone woke up from his contemplation and immediately looked at Jin with a smile: "Yes, let's settle this first."

Tyrone knew he was winning this buyout, but based on his research, buying Jin's company would cost at most 1.5 billion, and that money, he would earn it in less than five years! 

If the company does as well when Jin is handling it, he could regain his wealth in a year or two!

Then, Jin took a piece of paper and placed it in front of Tyrone.

Tyrone looked at it and saw the numbers.

Two billion, a complete company buyout, together with the plan and blueprints for future development as well as prospective earnings and other things that could be improved!

Seeing this, Tyrone was quite shocked, speechless, as well as excited!

He showed it to his people, and immediately, every single one of them felt inexplicit joy!

Two billion might be a big amount of money, but for this investment, they are most definitely getting a massive bargain!

Truthfully, after seeing this, Tyrone knew signing this would almost be a scam.

Tyrone estimated the value of this contract to be at most 4 billion, which is on the lowest part.

Tyrone could just buy this and sell it to other people and he would probably sell it for 6 billion in total!

Jin is definitely losing 66% of his company's value!

Tyrone immediately knew that he'd be earning more in just a year from buying it! He could even sell it for 4 billion and people would swarm it!

But Tyrone smiled, he then erased the words 2 billion and replaced it with 3 billion.

"I know you're in a rush, but I don't want to take advantage of you, how about this instead, I'll buy it for 3 billion." Tyrone added.

Hearing this, Jin could only smile: "Oh, what's this? Aren't you losing out?"

Tyrone smiled: "No, it's for a wise investment!"

Jin could not help but laugh deep inside: 'A wise investment?'
