First Male Friend

"Oh no! I can't believe this! I'm actually going crazy right now!" Rohan kept murmuring till he dropped Adam at a stone thrown to the office.

Adam maintained his cool posture. He stood in front of the office for a while, expecting Karina to show up like she did the previous day but nothing related to get was in sight.

"Maybe she came early today," he concluded before entering the office building.

He was the second to arrive in his department. He exchanged them with his co-worker that he met there.

Shortly after, the office was filled with the workers but Karina was nowhere in sight.

"What's delaying her?" He asked no one in particular.

He was about to call Rohan to request her phone number when Karina showed up.

Her hair was right and her face swollen coupled with black thin lines under her eyes.

"Good morning" she murmured as she entered her office.

Adam was shocked. It was obvious that Karina wasn't in a good state of mind. Her mood, dressing and expression shows everything.
