Dinner

For the umpteenth time, Reza looked back at his wife staring blankly. Like that morning, Jesselyn was watering the plants but her gaze was everywhere. The gaze seemed unfocused on one point, as if there was something Jesselyn was thinking about, which Reza had never known before. Reza approached his wife and hugged Jesselyn from behind. The action seemed to make Jesselyn a little surprised. Reza was increasingly convinced that Jesselyn was thinking about something earlier.

"Why did you come out? Mas Reza is still sick, just rest inside, Mas," Jesselyn said softly to her husband.

"You know I'm not someone who likes to keep quiet in the room, Sayang," replied Reza gently.

Jesselyn turned her body to face her husband. "But the doctor advised Mas to get a lot of rest, so that he can recover quickly. Nadira and I really didn't want to see Mas lying in a coma like that time. I really can't imagine what it would be like if I didn't have Mas in my life," Jesselyn said with a sad look.
