Chapter 11 Isabella Is Pregnant For Justin

Liam invited Isabella to ride along in his car after they were eventually ejected from the mansion, but she refused.

Liam scowled at her before hurriedly exiting the vehicle.

“What's wrong with you, Isabella?” Liam scolded her, “Do you prefer trekking down to the estate gate before getting a taxi, huh? You are undoubtedly aware that taxi drivers are not permitted to enter the estate. You are also aware of the distance to the gate from here. Why can't you just enter the car, so we can go home and iron things out?”

“Don't you dare…”Liam was met with a grimace from Isabella, who gestured with her index finger as if she were about to slap him. "If you knew you were not as wealthy as you seem, you should not have approached me."

“Come on, Isabella,” Liam sneered at her. I do not remember ever telling you that I do not have enough food or clothing at home. His mansion might look more magnificent than mine, but keep in mind that I'm not homeless. Besides, I also have companies that can still sustain me for the meantime before I get a bigger company to partner with.”

"Just go away from me, Liam!" Tears started trickling down Isabella's cheeks and she let out a loud cry. "Liam, I detest you. I detest every aspect of you. You ought to stay far away from me at all. Remember that I was embarrassed in public today because of you. Why did you come into my life in the first place? Why was I too blind to see that Justin wasn't who he was?”

Isabella asked countless rhetorical questions, causing her to become so weak that she found herself falling on her knees to the ground.

She was uncontrollably weeping as though she lost someone so dear to her.

On the contrary, Liam stood speechless with his hands akimbo as he watched Isabella crying her heart out.

He did not know what to do to help her forget what had happened before. His thoughts were focused on how he was going to accomplish that.

Liam was fully convinced that Isabella regretted her decision to break up with Justin to settle with him. Without even opening her mouth to speak, her expression conveyed everything.

Liam found it intolerable when Isabella expressed regret for her choice, as he felt belittled and unwelcomed.

“Come on, Isabella. Rather than holding myself responsible for what transpired, you and I are meant to take a seat and discuss how best to humiliate Justin. You can cry all you want, but Justin will not accept you back. The sooner you accept this, the better for both of us. Let's work together, so we can achieve our goal, Isabella,” Liam spoke with a calm voice as though he weren't worried, but he was fuming in anger.

Instead of speaking, Isabella continued to cry to release the anguish she was feeling in her heart.

Liam sighed and closed the gap between them. He stooped low and grasped Isabella's arms.

“Get up, Isabella. I guarantee that everything will be fine in due course. I promise I will never let you down. Trust me.” He reassured her as he helped her to her feet.

Liam Grayson walked Isabella Robert to the car and opened the car door for her. She was still crying when she got into the car. Liam tried to console her, but she would not stop crying.

Finally, they took off from there, heading to the estate gate, where Liam's bodyguards awaited him.

They arrived at Isabella's small house after driving around the city for a few minutes.

Isabella jumped out of the car as soon as they came to a halt in front of the small house, without waiting for any of the guards to open the door for her.

Isabella began to walk away quickly, without saying anything to Liam.

"Hey, Isabella, hold on so I can follow you," he said, jumping out of the car after one of the guards opened the door for him.

"Do not dare to step your feet into my father's house, Liam," Isabella said sternly.

She turned and continued to the door without waiting for him to respond, ignoring whatever Liam was saying.

When she arrived at the front door, she angrily kicked it, causing it to make a loud noise that startled her mother, who was relaxing in the living room.

"What happened to you, Isabella? Why should you…do… that?” She stuttered when she saw how upset Isabella was.

Isabella was dragging her feet towards her as if she had narrowly escaped a battle.

"Oh, my goodness. What happened, Isabella?” Her mother inquired, running towards her daughter.

Liam and his bodyguards had stumped into the house before the elderly woman in her early forties could approach her daughter.

Mrs. Lorelei Robert, Isabella's mother, trembled when she saw them and wondered if the men were after her daughter's life.

However, Liam approached Isabella's mother as she embraced her daughter, realizing how terrified she was.

"Good day, ma'am," Liam said politely. " You do not need to be afraid. We're here to drop her off.”

"Hmm... What happened to her to require you to bring her home? Why is she looking like someone who was attacked by armed robbers?” she curiously asked a few questions.

Isabella was busy wetting her mother's clothes while she embraced her and buried her face in her shoulder.

"Well, nothing significant happened. I believe she is in the best position to tell you everything that happened to her today..." Mrs. Lorelei cut into Liam's words before he could finish.

"Given that it is her birthday today, I thought she would arrive home smiling. I am wondering why, then, she should be crying instead of laughing. In addition, earlier today a group of menacing bodyguards arrived here bearing a birthday present for her. I…”

Without waiting for her mother to complete what she wanted to say, Isabella quickly let go of her mother and asked, “What are you talking about, Mom?”

Mrs. Lorelei was astonished by the sudden surprise by Isabella. She stood speechless as she gazed at her daughter with skeptical brows.

"Talk to me, Mom," she said, placing her hand on her mother's shoulder as she anticipated her next words.

"Isabella," her mother exclaimed. “ Where did you get this dress from? You seem unfamiliar to me dressed like this. Was this what my son-in-law Justin purchased for you? You look good in them."

“Mom…” Isabella screamed to the top of her voice as though she wanted to fight her Mom. "You have yet to respond to my question. Why are we attempting to change the subject?"

Mrs. Lorelei pointed to a brown envelope and a gift box on the cushion without saying anything.

Isabella dashed to get it because she was curious about who sent the gift and what it was.

The write-up on the brown envelope drew her attention before she could stretch her hand out to reach for it.

She focused her attention on the brown envelope, attempting to read what was written on it.

The brown envelope read, "From Justin Hemsworth to Isabella Robert."

Isabella picked up the brown envelope and held it up to her face without a second thought.

She pulled the paper out of the brown envelope in a hurry.

Isabella buried her face in the paper, which read, "Happy birthday, Isabella. So, I wanted to surprise you with the small gift I bought you for your birthday. Regrettably, things didn't go as planned. Of course, you are aware of what happened between you and me in Grayson's hotel.

“Since you made up your mind to marry Liam because I was a poor orphan, then I have nothing to say but happy married life in advance. But since the little gift was not intended for me in the first place, I was unable to keep it for myself. I hope you will accept this small gift as a way to remember me. Thank you, and good luck."

Isabella had already finished reading when tears began to fall down her cheeks and onto the paper.

When Liam saw this, he ran to her to support her because she was frail, and it was obvious that she would fall to the ground if no one held her.

The first thing he did when he approached her was peep and look at the letter that was still in Isabella's hand.

He clenched his fist furiously as soon as he saw Justin's name. He tried to embrace and comfort Isabella, but she pushed him away angrily.

“Get out of my house!” she yelled at Liam, slamming him across the chest."I despise you to the core.”

“Hey Isabella, what is going on here? Who is this man? And what is the deal with you crying after reading the letter?” Her mother was perplexed, and she wanted to know why everything about her daughter seemed strange that day.

Isabella dropped to her knees in front of her mother, leaving the woman speechless.

“I asked you a simple question, but you are kneeling instead of responding. Why?" Mrs. Lorelei inquired, intrigued.

She buried her face in her hands before finally raising her head.

“M-mom,“ she muttered as tears continued to stream down her cheeks. “ I-I ended my relationship with Justin. And the worst part is that he is now a billionaire.”

“Wait a minute, what?” Her mother was taken aback by her words."How could you…”

Isabella's eyes went dim before the woman could finish her sentence, causing her to fall to the ground weakly.

“Isabella!” Liam screamed as he ran up to her.

“Rush her to the hospital,” Mrs. Lorelei said when she realized her daughter was in critical condition.

It was as if she were stricken by someone.

They hurried to the car and then to the hospital.

They arrived at the hospital in a matter of minutes. Isabella was rushed to one of the hospital wards.

Mrs. Lorelei was worried because she was not prepared to lose her only child. She was the reason she existed on Earth.

Ohh no…!

Isabella, please do not die now…

Mrs. Lorelei and Liam were told to wait outside while the doctor examined Isabella and determined what was wrong with her.

The woman was pacing up and down the corridor, waiting for the doctor to arrive and tell them whether Isabella was still alive or not.

The only statement Mrs. Lorelei was scared to hear from any medical personnel was when the person said,“ I'm sorry to announce to you that…”

That statement has the power to turn a thousand bones into dust.

Mrs. Lorelei and Liam quickly approached the doctor as he stepped out of the room after a few minutes of waiting.

“Doctor, how is she doing?” Mrs. Lorelei inquired, perplexed.

“Certainly, ma'am. You have nothing to worry about. I have good news for you.” Mrs. Lorelei felt relieved when the doctor responded with a smile.

“What is the good news?” She asked, her gaze fixed on the young man in his lab coat standing before her.

The doctor shifted his gaze away from her and toward Liam, offering him a handshake.

Liam was befuddled, but he took the doctor's hand anyway.

“Sir, congratulations.” The doctor assumed that Liam was Isabella's husband.

“Huh? Congratulations?” Liam said after him. “For what, please?” he inquired, but the doctor only smiled and took his hand away.

He looked at them before saying to Mrs. Lorelei, “Congratulations, ma'am. Your daughter-in-law is expecting a child.”

“Huh?” Mrs. Lorelei's mouth widened as she locked her gaze on the doctor.

“Are you kidding?” The news shocked Liam.
