General Wolf is Back.

Chapter 16

Upon arrival, he assessed the situation in the villa and saw his family gathered. 

“Dad, I'm sorry I'm late. I swear I'll find and bring this culprit to justice no matter who he is.”

His voice, full of rage, echoed through the whole house.

“Seth.” Carl appeared suddenly.

The man was Lord Salvador's first son, Seth.

Seth was expressionless, his face dark, and etched with anger and frustration.

“I need the banquet's surveillance video. I need to know what and who we are dealing with.”

Carl nodded in affirmation together with Lord Salvador and soon he sent someone to go retrieve it.

“I'll get it right away." 

On the arrival of the CCTV footage, Seth stood up and watched the video. He saw the entire process of Danny coming into the villa, Nico's ass kicking and of course how he escaped the military arrest.

Calmly, he asked, 

“What did he say to dad before leaving?”

Carl etched trepidation and anger, spoke... His voice barely above whispers.

“Some years ago, we and some other entities plotted and assassinated the Allen's family and now, we will pay in blood.”

Seth clenched his fists so tight upon hearing this and his expression darkened even more. 

“A survivor of the Allens i guess?” 

“It must be, there's no other explanation to what happened here tonight. This is revenge.”

Seth pushed his palms into his face, lost in thoughts. He couldn't believe it was possible for an Allen to have survived the incident years back.

“Dad, what do we do?"

Lord Salvador, still shocked at how the night had gone down and how an Allen was loose and is now hunting for blood, stood up and addressed his family.

“l will make a trip to the Capital and ask the big man there about potential Allens survivors.”

“Someone somewhere must have known or heard something. This is Oakville.”

Early the next morning, Danny still tangled in his bedsheets, squinting as the sudden sound of his ringing phone pierced the early morning silence.

It was Kim Morris calling.

“Hey honey, I've managed to get in touch with my classmate who's willing to help and has now set up an appointment with the man in charge by name, Damian Henderson."

“Where are you? Let's go to Jasper and Hector's and get this deal done. Maybe then Grandfather will accept you then!”.

Kim Morris voice was laced with excitement as it echoed through the phone.

Danny laid still on the bed answering the call with a bright and genuine smile spreading across his face, his eyes crinkling with joy.

“Wait for me at home, I'll pick you up in a bit.”

After hanging up, Danny jolts off the bed and got ready at top speed.

Jefferson on the other hand was already waiting with the car. One hand rests on the steering wheel, while the other is near the gear shift, prepared for a quick response.

“You seem to be in a haste, where are we going, Danny?”

Danny smiled gleefully, excited that Kim his wife sounded fulfilled over the phone.

“To get my wife, she's over at her place remember”

Jefferson's face was covered in a smile, since his boss this time was smiling

"Hop in then, I'd take you to her."

Danny complied. With Jefferson at the wheel, they definitely would reach Kim's place in no time. 

On arrival at Kim's place, They both sat in the car waiting for her to step out.

Kim steps out, her movements graceful and confident. She was putting on a glowing dress that catches the light breeze, framing her face in soft waves, her hair was styled perfectly. 

Along with her was a small handbag, casually slung over her shoulder, and her heels making soft clicks against the floor as she walks.

As she was going to meet the chairman of Jasper and Hector groups, Kim had put in extra effort to groom herself.

Having seen the black multi-purpose SUV approach from a distance, Kim jogged up a little to the car with a joyful expression on her face.

“Hi Honey, you're here.”

“My classmate had it all sorted out. She's made the appointment for us already, so all we have to do now is to show up at Jasper and Hector group.”

Danny's face light up with a genuine smile, his eyes crinkling at the corners and sparkling with warmth..

It had nothing to do with her classmate at all, he knew deep inside. 

If he had not spoken with Damian Ferguson the other day, there would not be any appointment to speak of, talk more of attending to.

However, seeing that Kim was so happy about the whole stuff, he decided not to spoil the moment for her Instead, he complimented her. 

“I knew You've got this love, It's all up to you now to speak with the chairman". 

“If this doesn't work out as expected, I'm out.”

Kim smiled brilliantly, there's a sense of comfort and calm in her demeanor, making Danny feel at ease.

“Don’t worry darling. I won't let you down because we're sealing this deal.”

She might still be hazy about the details of Danny's’ background, but she had been to his villa frequently and indirectly lives there.  

His villa was a fortress with a hefty price tag attached to it. Any Tom, Dick, or just no body would not be able to afford it.

She felt impossibly lucky that he was hers. Now, she wanted to prove her capability to him.

She wanted to show him that she was no longer the old low self esteemed Kim everyone knew. Even though she had been a laughing stock for years and years, she kept up with her studies at home and was an accomplished scholar. 

“Let's go, darling.”

Danny then ordered Jefferson.

“Jefferson, take us to the Jasper and Hector group office."

Kim adjusted close and cuddled up to Danny. The thought of the previous night ordeal came blazing into her memory. 

“Honey, did you know that Lord Salvador was attacked last night in his villa?”

As the head of the Salvador's, and a big family in Oakville, they were very famous. Everyone knew who they were.
