Chapter 15

Danny was extremely imposing at this point. Under his murderous stare, everyone was scared silly. Coupled with how easily he tore Nico's arm off, no one dared utter a single word except the soldiers.

“Down on your knees, and put your hands up."

Danny quietly adjusted himself, fully aware of what comes next. He had anticipated this; he always did.

Danny wasn't an ordinary criminal, he is the great general wolf. He was calculating, already three steps ahead of them.

The soldiers were now in position, their leader giving the silent hand signal.

Danny smiled, already knowing what they had planned out, he turned to Lord Salvador who was seated scared on his sofa.

“I will be back for you, next time not with my face covered and you will pay dearly for what you did to my family, years ago."

Lord Salvador was etched with a mixture of confusion and anxiety, trying to figure out what Danny was saying.

“Your family? Who the hell are you?"

Just then, Danny reached into his pocket and pulled out a small remote. It was time for the first trick.

“I owe your head, to my family the Allen's. Your son's and those responsible for my family's demise will pay dearly. Obviously not today, but I must come to collect."

Lord Salvador on hearing Danny mention the Allen's, stood up like he concussed, fear and trepidation reeking all over his face.

The moment the soldiers advanced, Danny smiled at Lord Salvador, realizing that he had planted fear in him. He detonated a series of smoke bombs, flooding the room with a thick, blinding cloud.

As the smoke thickened, Danny slipped through and approached Lord Salvador, whispering to his ears.

“I want you and your family to suffer before killing you, your life now belongs to me."

Lord Salvador fell to his knees pleading for mercy, with fear and trepidation etched all over his face for he knew it was Payday and he was only at Danny's mercy.

The soldiers, blinded and coughing, fanned out in confusion. They moved with caution as their thermal cameras struggled to penetrate the dense smoke.

Meanwhile, Danny already thought his way through. With his lightning-fast reflexes, he makes his move grabbing a nearby soldier's weapon, disarming him in one swift motion.

With every possible escape route etched in his mind, Danny was certain of his escape without much stress.

The soldiers reacted, but Danny was already a step ahead, using the soldier as a shield to buy himself a few seconds.

Dodging a blow, Danny ducks, then rolls to the side, slipping through a gap in the line of soldiers. The confusion he caused gives him just enough time to head towards Jefferson who was parked right outside.

With a roar of the engine, the vehicle dusts off. The soldiers give chase, but Danny is off already, leaving chaos in his wake, disappearing into the distance before they can regroup.

When he returned to the House of Royals, he took a bath, and afterwards sat on the couch with Jefferson next to him.

He wasn't at the banquet to really kill Lord Salvador, he wanted to make a point, which he knew was clear. They now know an Allen is still alive and on a quest to hunt them all down.

He wanted Lord Salvador to suffer the same faith as his family. He'd love to have him watch his children and perpetrators gone before his own demise.

“They think I've failed this time, if only they knew what's coming next...They'd be trembling in fear."

Jefferson stood still by him all this while his face etched in a mixture of excitement and surprise.

“What's do we do next? This family have got to pay."

Danny gleefully smiled, turning his look towards Jefferson who was still expecting a response on what the next movement should be.

“For now let's live our normal lives like nothing happened tonight."

“No need rushing the process, I want the Salvador's to suffer and with my identity still hidden, they don't know where to start looking."

The Salvador's on the hand had their guests leave early in order to attend to the urgency they had at hand and the sudden appearance of an Allen they sought to have taken care of years ago.

In the foyer sat Lord Salvador, still pounding on the thought that either an Allen survived their plot years back or someone else knew about the plot and has now gone rogue.

Nico, who had his arm broken by Danny, had been sent to the hospital.

All the Salvador's gathered round to ask Lord Salvador what their next line of action should be.

In the lead was Carl. He was Lord Salvador's youngest Son. The same Carl that partook in destroyed the Allen's utterly.

He was in a terrible mood

“Has anyone called Seth? He needs to know what's going on."

Her roar echoed through the quiet foyer.

"Y-yes. We've called him.”

“Then let's all chill out a little. We'll wait till Seth gets back.”

It was a quiet night. In the Oakville military outpost, a chopper touches down on an open field, the blades sending dust and loose grass into the air.

As the door slides open, a middle-aged man dressed in a crisp uniform with medals on their chest, steps out.

A line of soldiers stands in formation at a distance, each wearing combat gear. At the sight of the man, they simultaneously raised their right hands in a sharp salute.

A jeep appeared and the man got into it. It headed straight to Lord Salvador's Villa.
