"Are you really asking me to choose where I want to eat?" Nathan asked, unsure of why Alex was suddenly so confident.
"Yes of course. Go ahead, choose wherever you want to."
Alex, for the first time understood how powerful money was. With the possession of his black card and a five million dollars sitting in his bank account, he felt like he was on top of the world and nothing could bring him down.
Nathan smiled deviously and finally said, "there is this great new restaurant that just opened up. The Corsair. Don't bother yourself with trying to pronounce it. I know that people in your class cannot speak sophisticated languages," Nathan taunted.
"Oh is that so? Well, it sounds like The Corsair," Alex pronounced it perfectly, shocking Nathan to his bones. "sounds like a perfect place. So let's go then."
Nathan stood back. He still did not understand why Alex was suddenly very confident but he knew that he would go to great lengths to embarrass him in the hotel.
"Okay let's go then "
"Before we leave, I have a condition I need you to meet."
"And what's your condition?" Nathan asked, looking at him skeptically.
"The bill will have to be split 50-50. You will take care of one half and I will take care of the other."
Nathan laughed loudly.
"Now I know that you are broke and worthless, so why don't you just admit that you can't take care of the bill by yourself?"
"And since you are so rich and wealthy, why don't you help me out?" Alex said.
"Yes, Nathan. Prove that you are what you say you are!" Natalie joined in.
Nathan could not let his reputation go into ruins and so quickly, he accepted Alex's condition.
"Okay, fine. I will foot half of the bill but if you can't foot yours, you will have to be my slave for the rest of the semester."
"I hope this condition applies to both parties," Natalie said, meaning that if Nathan couldn't pay, he would be Alex's slave for the semester.
Nathan snickered. "Of course it does," Nathan said happily, knowing that Alex could never foot such a bill.
"Alright, it's a deal then," and like that, they shook on it.
Nathan knew that The Corsair was a very expensive place to eat at. He sometimes couldn't even foot the bill by himself. But with the amount he had, he knew he would be able to but he also knew that everything in his account would be wiped clean.
He did not care though. He would do it with a smile if it meant humiliating Alex.
Alex may even have to wash plates just to pay for his own part of the bill. He couldn't wait to mock him when they happened.

The Corsair Restaurant stood tall and elegant. It's primary colors were gold and white, symbolizing the elegance with which the place held.
As soon as Damien stepped into the restaurant, he was scared for Alex. They were more scared because they knew very well that both of their savings put together could not foot the bill if Alex couldn't. Their heart pounded loudly at the predicament their friend has gotten himself into.
The youths were met at the entrance of the hotel by the maitre d'hotel
"Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen, how may I help you today?" The woman asked politely.
"Good afternoon ma. We have a reservation here."
"Okay," the woman brought out her iPad. "What name is the reservation under?" She asked.
"Ms. Gilead," Natalie responded.
"Of course. Ms. Gilead," the woman said with a hint of familiarity. "Right this way, I reserved a very nice table for you and your friends," the woman said and ushered her to a table with a view.
"I hope this is to your liking, ms," she asked.
"Yes it is. Thank you."
"I will get your waiter to attend to you immediately," the woman said and walked away.
Damien took a moment to take in the feel of the restaurant
The inside looked like the home of a wealthy king.
The chandeliers hung proudly from the ceiling, the walls were painted white, radiating excellence and beauty, the soft jazz music that was played in the background was enough to calm their nerves down.
Immediately Damien leaned on Alex.
"Alex, he called out! Look I don't know what you are trying to prove but if I were you, I would drop this act and get out of here. You obviously can't foot this bill and you will only end up embarrassing yourself," he warned.
"You guys need to stop worrying. I can take care of this." Alex reassured them.
"Okay. How about you guys stop with the chattering and let's order," Nathan said when the men dropped the menu for them.
The menu that was dropped looked like it feel out of Heaven.
Smooth, silk and glittering. Alex opened it up and immediately saw that the meals were divided into three sections.
The first was bronze, the second was silver and the last was gold. They were graded according to their costing.
"Hmm, this all looks delicious. How about we order the silver package?" Nathan said, looking intently at Alex hoping he would fidget.
Immediately, Natalie noticed it and became enraged that he was still picking on Alex.
"Can you for once not think about your stupid pride for a change? What if the rest of us don't want the silver package? This isn't about you, you know?" She argued.
"Oh well darling, I am only trying to help our friend here. I mean look at the way he is staring at that menu. It's very obvious that he can't afford anything on the menu. You know what, because I am a very nice guy, I will say let's go for the bronze package. It's a bit cheaper for him," Nathan said with a smile on his face.
Nathan was just about to place the order when Alex finally spoke. "Oh hold on now. I don't like the meals on the bronze package. I prefer this gold package. Let's order that one," he said and finally closed the menu to look at Nathan.
Immediately, Nathan begun fidgeting. He knew how expensive that package was and he was not sure he could totally afford it.
"What?" He asked as others on the table gasped.
Natalie immediately leaned towards Alex.
"Alex, are you sure? Do you know how expensive that package is?" She whispered. Not wanting everyone at the table to hear her.
"Of course I am sure. So what do you say Nathan? Can you handle paying for half of the golden package?" He said with a smirk on his face.
Nathan looked at bill in front of him and started shivering. He knew that he did not have that amount to foot it but he could not back down and be embarrassed by Alex. "Fine. Let's order the golden package," he finally said, gulping hard. "Perfect," Alex said and returned the menu back to the waiter The meal arrived ten minutes later and immediately it arrived, everyone dugged in. The meal was so delicious and satisfying that no one paid much attention to Nathan and hence did not notice his distress while eating. He was the only one that did not enjoy the meal that was being served in front of him. He loosened his belt and gasped for air as he thought of how he would finally get out of the mess he had put himself in. His new found girlfriend, Susan noticed his countenance and looked at him sternly. "What the hell is wrong with you?" She whispered. "I may not be able to pay for this meal," he whispered back to her. Immediately, Susan looked at him and snorted. "Well, find ou
Alex walked into the shopping mall that looked elegant and sophisticated. He had two reasons for why he walked into the fancy and elegant shopping mall. One was to get a suit that would make him stand out at Natalie's birthday party and also upgrade his wardrobe at the same time and the second was to upgrade from the little, old and wretched phone he used to a more slicker and better brand. As soon as he got into the building, his eyes collided with some very beautiful suits that he knew would bring out his best features. Smiling, he walked towards the rack and started going through them. The material felt soft and slick.Alex could not help the smile that came across his face. At the counter end, two assistants stood staring at him. Their faces had a puzzled look on it. "Wait, are my eyes playing tricks on me?" One of them asked. "I don't believe it is." The other responded, cleaning her eyes. "Isn't that the guy that delivers things to us?" "Yes he is.""What is he doing goin
Alex walked into his apartment, along with him were porters who diligently carried the clothes he had purchased. The commotion that occured made his neighbour to come out of her apartment to observe what was happening. Immediately, she was seen by Alex who smiled softly and approached her. "Hey there neighbor," he greeted the woman that had helped him sort out his rent when he did not have any money. "Hello, good afternoon. What's going on here?" She asked immediately. "Oh, they are just moving in some clothes. I hope it did not disturb you?" Alex was beginning to think that she was the kind of girl that never wanted to be disturbed in any way. "No. But forgive me for asking? What's with the clothes? Are you starting an online business or something?" She asked. Alex chuckled. "ah, no I am not. I actually just wanted to upgrade my wardrobe. I needed new set of clothes." "Wow, you must have won a lottery to be able to afford such clothes," she joked. "Ah," Alex laughed. "That ac
Alex saw the low impressions she suddenly had on her account because of the bad guy that left a very bad comment on it. He knew he had to help, suddenly he sent in his own gift. It was an aircraft carrier, valued at 50 thousand dollars. Immediately more listeners logged back into Ivy's live show. Did that just happen?Did that man just gift her an aircraft carrier? You are worried about the aircraft carrier? Don't you know that he just gifted her 50 thousand dollars?Where do you get viewers like this? The highest I have ever gotten is a lousy $10 gift card. The comments just came coming in and Ivy could not contain her self anymore. Her heart busted out in tears as it was overwhelmed with joy. She looked at the screen and could not believe that the same user that told her how much he loved her singing also sent 50 thousand dollars to her. "Thank you," she said sincerely. "Thank you so much."Alex observed what had happened and couldn't help but feel happy. Ivy had helped him w
Alex walked slowly into Ivy's room and he took his time to soak in the interior decoration of the room. It had a feminine feel with a touch of royalty. He smiled to himself. Ivy was the type that would really enjoy the good life. His eyes flashed to the table and he immediately noticed the array of dishes that lay there. He turned immediately to look at Ivy. "Oh, I set out a dish. I hope you haven't eaten? I am actually very excited and I would want us to celebrate!" She explained."Of course. But what exactly are we celebrating?" "Please sit," Ivy said as she rounded her center table to sit down. "Now," she begun when Alex was well seated. "The most crazy thing just happened to me," she started. Alex watched with a soft smile on his face as Ivy told him all about the kind man who gifted her a million dollars on her live video. He could tell from her voice that she was more than excited. "He is really very nice," Ivy said while stuffing her face with steak. "And I haven't seen
Susan opened her eyes to sloppy. The first thing she noticed as she tried to move her hands to touch her face was the rope that held her hands together. "What the?" Her voice came out as a whisper as her eyes suddenly opened fully and she saw where she was. Immediately she noticed that she was tied up, she let out a scream waking up her two friends. "What?! Argh!" Jasmine and Caroline screamed when they saw the two men who sat before them, one holding a baton and one holding a knife with a gun laying on his legs. "Where are we?" Caroline asked with a small voice as she looked around her environment. Her hands, feet and body was tied to a stool and the only part of her body that could move were her eyes and her head, giving her enough room to feast her eyes. There were planks of wood scattered around the floor, the entire environment wrecked of alcohol and cheap perfume, bricks were lying around the room and the abandoned place they seem to be in had lots of broken bottles everywh
The gangster sighed heavily. "Okay, the fuck is taking so long with that call?" He asked loudly. "He said he will do it!" Caroline said happily. "Really?! Give me the phone then," the leader said and yanked it from her hand. "Hello," "Yes, hello. How much do you need to release the girls," Alex asked. "$100,000." "Fine. Send your address to me. I will bring the cash." "No, sir," the man chuckled. "I am not sending any address to you. I will send you my details, you will make payments and then I will tell you where you can pick the girls up." "You must think that I'm stupid. What's the guarantee that if I do make payments you will actually allow those girls to leave? Either you send me your address or you can say goodbye to the money." The man weighed the situation. He looked at the girls, he would obviously have a good time with them but he wasn't the type that loved sharing and if he was to do anything with them, he would have to share them with his guys. And on the other
Caroline could feel her body shaking, she could feel her bones trembling. "I don't actually have all day young lady," Alex said, scaring her the more. Just the thought of having to sleep with the same guy she has ridiculed in the past was more than enough for her to bare. She had always told everyone that he was nothing but a piece of trash and now the hands of 'a piece of trash' was going to be touching her. As she took off her top, she could feel a shudder of cold run down her spine. Every fiber in her wanted to run and never look back but she knew that she couldn't. Taking in a deep breath, she removed her trousers. When she realized that she was wearing nothing more than her undies, she tried to cover herself. Alex did not say a word. He just crossed his legs and watched her. But there was something else in his eyes and it wasn't a good look. Caroline reached to unclasp her bra when Alex stood up from the bed. She took a few steps back, thinking that he was coming over to t
