The Silverview airport is full to the brim. It's the busiest airport in the busy city of silver view. Movement had been restricted because of the war and it's now that the airport has been reopened to the public.

As the people wait for their flights to be called, they gather around the television as the newscaster has the latest news on the war that has been raging for a while.

“Information reaching us from the military says that the war has come to an end and the country of Westland remains victorious against the enemies…”

The loud roars of victory push against the walls as people hug, shake and jump together to celebrate this great victory.

“....Thanks to no other than the country's super soldier, popularly known as ‘Mars’, for his impressive skills. He is the hero of the war, but sources say that Mars has been missing since the day he bravely saved the country. Mars is presumed to be dead….”

The celebration dies down and now with a gloomy look on their faces, people start to talk about Mars. His picture is displayed on the screen. Its Gray in his military attire, but he has a mask over his face.

That's because of how dangerous and crucial his mission is in the army. Only top military officers and the top level clearance government officials know his face.

He is a super soldier, but his official identity is never revealed. Not even his fellow generals know his real name. They only know him as Mars… He is highly classified, but that didn't stop them from plotting against him…

“Oh good lord, do you think that Mars is dead?”

“No, he is not! He is the greatest soldier that this country has ever seen! Maybe he is lost and can't recall his memory…”

Grey enters into the place through the entry section. He has nothing with him except a small bag that he has slung over his shoulder and a walking stick.

He is very different from what he used to look like in the army and the picture of him displayed on the screen.

Gray has dyed his hair black, grown out his hair and has grown out his beard to a goatee. His walking stick is to aid him, since he has suddenly become blind and has left the army. He is now a blind veteran.

Since the entire country and the army thinks that Mars is dead, Gray has gone back to his identity.

His wife and family know that he is a soldier, he left them four years ago to fight in the war, but they don't know that he is Mars.

Now he is a blind soldier who has returned home after the war, but that won't stop him from figuring out why the president and the generals in the army tried to kill him….

Grey walks towards the exit, he is very slow and uses his sticks to find clear ways or else he is going to fall.

The war is over and he brought this country victory, but his honor has been stolen from him. Now he has to live a low and quiet life.

Grey flags down a taxi and gives the driver quick verbal instructions on where to take him to.

Grey is married. He has been married for five years now to a very beautiful woman that he loves with all his heart.

He needs to go and see her and also see his mother too. They have to know that he is fine now.

The drive lasts for almost thirty minutes and the driver drops him at the address. Gray manages to make it to the gate and he knocks on it.

He is expecting his wife to answer the door, but it's a man who does.

Gray is confused, what's this strange man doing in his house?

“Hey, what are you doing in my house and where is my wife?” Gray frowns.

The man is smoking a pipe and he glares at Gray for interrupting him.

“Hey, mate, my master bought this house from a young woman four years ago. If she is the one you are looking for, I guess you go somewhere else!”

He bangs the door rudely in Gray's face before walking away.

Gray sighs. He doesn't have a phone, but it's a good thing that he has his wife's phone number stored in his memory.

He finds a phone booth, it's a good thing that he has mastered the art of using the phone even though he is blind. He dials her number and gives her a call. He is relieved as soon as she picks up.

“Hello?” Her voice is exactly the same. He pauses for a while, he feels emotional about returning back to her.

“Hello, Wendy? It's me. Your husband, Gray.”

He expects her to burst into tears of joy and scream with happiness, but that doesn't happen. All he hears is his silence.

He looks at the phone in confusion, did the call end? Why is she so quiet?

“Hello? Wendy? Are you still there?”

She heaves before answering, “Meet me at the Royal restaurant in ten minutes. Don't keep me waiting.”

Her reply is rude and short. She hangs up on him.

Gray has never been this confused in his life. What's wrong? Why has his wife changed her manner of speaking to him and why has she sold his house and asked him to meet her at a restaurant?!
