CHAPTER 85

THE RESURFACE OF THE OLD FRIEND

Jack and Jane got home.

Thy were both in the kitchen operating dinner, while the tv in the living room was left on.

They were hoping to hear the situation of the mayor after his arrest and its pertaining issues.

Luckily, the kitchen was not too far from the living room where the TV was, so they could hear any sound from the TV.

As they cooked, they discussed about the current issues in the factory and company and how they were going to tackle it as a team.

Although Jane was only a ‘worker’ for Jack, Jack was fond of using the pronoun ‘we’ whenever he was talking.

One would think the company belonged to the two of them.

As they spoke, Jane remunerated something and asked Jack about it.

“ Talking of the factory, how is it going with your cousin?” Jane asked.

Jack shrugged and sighed.

“ I haven't heard any information from their camp in a while, except that the man is back from the coma, and his son had gone to see him.
