CHAPTER 182

Florence came down the stairs to find Roman watching the television. It was kind of awkward to see him staring at the television screen. It was usually because he never had time for that. Roman had always been busy running around trying to make sure that everyone around him was okay.

He had sacrificed a lot and it was time he got some rest. He deserved it.

After barely surviving an assassination, he still stood to his feet and fought against her father. She didn’t know where he had summoned up such energy and courage, but he had done it. And he had come out victorious. Although there were some huge losses. But what was war without loss?

“Roman,” she called as he arrived in the large living room.

Roman turned to face her. His black hair was combed neatly and his silver eyes gleamed as they stared at her. He was dressed in a gray sweater and pants. He looked so comfortable on the couch.
